That dirty rotten hag is basically calling all Republicans bigots. Bitch.
To: mhking
So has Lott spoken? If he thinks about it too much he may change his mind about keeping his Senate seat.
To: BUSHdude2000
Pelosi on now saying it was shameful how the Republicans used the Confederate flag as a symbol to win.
First time I'm hearing that. I didn't think it was the flag?

If Lott has half a brain he'll realize that if Richard Nixon, George Wallace, Jesse Jackson, and even Bill Clinton (after impeachment) can make a political comeback, so can he. If Lott had half a brain he wouldn't be in this trouble.

Your average Democratic legislator today: "Dear God, what have we done?"
Hahahahahaha!!!!!

"Yes but now every Bush judge pick will be scrutinized for racist language and tossed out."Yes and this will only happen because Lott stepped aside and wouldn't have happened even if he didn't and wasn't already happening before the Lott fiasco in the first place.

Yes but now every Bush judge pick will be scrutinized for racist language and tossed out. It will be the Clarence Thomas sexual harassment fiasco all over again. Exactly! Lott needed to go but not in this manner. This will haunt us for the rest of this administrations stay - 2 or 4 years... I'm no longer certain the way this got us derailed so easily.

Pelosi states that Lott stepping down is a positive step, but that we have a lot of work to do in removing race as an issue in our country. They're back to railing against the Confederate flag.
She didn't look happy.

"CNN is saying a lot of Republicans are mad at Bush because he handled the entire matter so clumsily. Can you imagine?"bush did the dirty work for them and gave them cover. They owe Bush big time.
To: Howlin
Did you just hear Pelosi? The new talking points are out. Clinton started it yesterday with CNN - the race in Georgia and North Carolina all about the confederate flag, Republicans ran on it, and won. This is totally false and complete revisionism on the campaign.
GOD, I HATE THE DEMOCRATS!!

Frist was the point man on the PBA ban. Having him in virtually guarantees it'll pass this year!

Actually Lott was still Minority Leader til January. I didn't see the Dems win anything. :)
To: Aaron0617
Someone needs to remind Pelosi and her colleagues that Clinton had the Confederate flag flying over the statehouse during all his years as Governor in Arkansas.

Alright. Phase II of this campaign now officially kicks off - and that is to nuke the crap out of the Santimonious Hypocrites of the 'Rat party. First target - the so-called "Soul of the Senate" - Grand Kleagle Sen. Robert Byrd.

C-SPAN is taking calls. Phone #'s are on the screen.

Indeed. Or George McClellan.
Clinton was a vain windbag.
Dubya is a low-key guy who demands results.

Frist is pro-choice? I keep hearing this one slung around, and I never seem to get specific data to support it.
Be patient. I am going to post a very compelling indictment of Frist probably later today with about ten different news cites of Frist's pro-choice comments. Unfortunately for me, Lott's resignation takes a lot of the air out of my sails as no conservative has announced against Frist yet. Hopefully soon, but I'm not holding my breath. I will try to remember to ping you on it. Otherwise keep an eye on the front page section later today and early tommorow.

A 100% record from National Right to Life. Goose eggs from Palnned Parenthood and NARAL.
If anyone believes that is pro-choice, then I've got a bridge in Chappaquiddick for sale. Real cheap.
