I've always said the way to end abortion is to change "Hearts and Minds". I guess I should make it "Hearts, Minds and Technology" now.

Either way is light years better than the hard-core anti-abortion freaks who do nothing but SCREAM "ALL OR NOTHING" and scare women away from the GOP, thus hurting their own cause.

I will never forget the first time I saw my first child, my son, literally bouncing up and down like a kangaroo inside his mother's womb at about 5 months thanks to ultrasound. A magical, mystical experience which enriches me everytime I recall it...

He is six now and i cannot imagine a more precious gift from God. That every child were so treasured.

There is a syndrome of pregnancy-based diabetes, yes, but IIRC it goes away after childbirth.

I place very little value on children born into these circumstances.

The value of a child's life depends on the circumstances of her birth?!?

The current president at Santa Clara would never let him on campus. Only pro-abortionist can speak at that "Catholic" school.

Well, there have been some encouraging instances lately. It seems like if people pay attention and call attention to scheduled speakers, they can make a difference.

The president of Gonzaga, Fr. Spitzer, is certainly ardently pro-life.

oh NO we can't have INFORMED decisions in this area! (*GASP*)

Great article. I wish men and women would stop buying the lie that parenthood is somewhat of a curse.

Mr. Shear, you are such a wuss.

Does the GOP scare away Muslim-Americans by firmly standing against bin laden?

Abortion is worth taking a concrete stance on.

And have you ever considered that millions of men are disgusted by soft-on-abortion politicians who are in effect proclaiming that any man's prenatal daughter or son can be killed over the man's objections?

The GOP needs to stand by those men if it expects to survive politically. Like millions of others, I vote Life first.

Good point. I would add to that men and women would stop buying the lie that parenthood is a primarily-female vocation.

The more time more men spend as caregivers of their children, the more men will oppose abortion. Sadly, the pro-life movement hasn't done a lot to advance this case.

Standing ovation. The child is innocent and the man's rights need to be protected. If you don't like that, you come talk to mama face to face.
