I thought you'd like that one :-)
I just hope Christopher Hitchens isn't lurking, he might send a lightning bolt my way and ZAP me. Kissinger is not on Christopher Hitchens Christmas Card list, If you know what I mean? :-)

Even the Wahabbis are stock full to the brim with sorcery and magic, they separate it from what they consider idolatry. When I had the misfortune of being stationed there, I used to have so much fun at the locals expense. Give one of the goat-snugglers a long, hard stare and they would make the "sign of the EvilEye" and scamper off. It was a hoot.
Sharia law is a good example. Sharia law is nothing more than Arab tribal law. The moslems aren't quite bright enough to figure it out and go around trying to institute it in places where "desert law" just won't work.

It may be many many years from now, but ultimately, this will all end in only one of two ways...
1>The entire world converts to the Islamic belief;
OR
2> Mecca, Riyadh, Medina and a host of others get nuked.
I see no other options for this mess to eventually play out.

The quote is of my own devising.
Regarding the first Wahhabis, they did indeed smash Mohammed's tomb along with a number of other holy sites in Mecca, which is why the Ottoman armies swept down upon them in 1818 and all but destroyed the Wahhabi faith. A tiny remnant survived in Central Arabia around Riyadh and eventually the British contracted the Wahhabis to help them overthrow the Ottoman Empire, putting House Saud on top of one of the planet's largest oil reserves.
Wahhabism can best be summed up with a couple of quotes from ummmah.net:
"Wahhabism was spread not through knowledge but through cruelty and bloodshed by ignorant people. Of the cruel who soaked their hands with blood in this way, the amir or Dar'iyya, Muhammad ibn Sa'ud, was the most stone-hearted."
I expect that the War on Terror will end when the US finishes what the Turks started nearly 200 years ago.

Wasn't there any holy sites in Arabia those Wahhabi camel-farmers didn't smash? Also, I would be too worried about Cambodia's Muslim minority-thery're only a small minority. If Cambodia's government does the right thing and not let the Wahhabis get a foothold or even a toehoold in the country, I don't see a problem.
Wuck the Fahhabis, Fahhabism, and Ibn-Fahhab, that old camel-humping motherf***r.
