IMHO, the islamofascist hatred of America does not stem from our wealth, or their envy of it, but rather from our support for Israel.

Sorry,but I can't agree. Israel is just a just a excuse they use,and what they are doing then is trying to drive a wedge between us and them. They would hate us even if Israel had never existed. Their hatred is based on religious differences,and since we are the most powerful,influencial,and richest non-Muslim nation,we are bound to draw the most attention.

Seems like the replacement is looney enough she should be easy to beat the next election cycle she's in. As a one-termer without much power or influence,she can't do nearly as much damage to freedom as a more senior RINO whose party is in power.

I'm not aware that the Judeo-Christian beliefs say anything at all about Muslims. They do NOT hate us because they are jealous of us. They hate us because we aren't fundie Muslims. Period. End of story. Fini. Everything else is HorseHillary.

The original position I responded to was that they hate us because we are rich and powerful. I reject that. I also reject George Bush's statement that they hate us because we are free.

I say they hate us for religious reasons...among them our association with Israel and Judeo-Christianity. Our dominance makes theirs look like a false gutter religion, and I think if they had their way, they would destroy every christian, and every jew, and make the whole world Dar Al Islam.

They also hate our arrogance in being so sure we are right. In they end, they cannot be right if we are right, and I think they're willing to test the words of their God against ours.

Destroying Israel would prove the Bible wrong and, intheir minds, affirm their religion over ours. They are after America because we keep them from destorying Israel.

I guess we are mostly in agreement. Other than the Israel thing,that is. I see it as more of a excuse than a reason. We could drop all support for Israel tomorrow and BEG the Arab nations to attach her,and it wouldn't make any difference in their stand on us. They would still want us destroyed.

They are after America because we keep them from destorying Israel.

Maybe this was true at one time,but not now. The Israelis are perfectly capable of taking care of themselves now. Any Arab nation that attacks them will end up glowing in the dark,and they all know it.
