Perhaps, But King Chad is well beyond the growing pains that let Cleveland back into the Jets Game.

The Browns allow the second least red zone touch downs in the league, second only to Tampa.

Thanks. Best explanation I've seen yet. I can't seem to find an official one anywhere.

Your rankings have an error in them. The Giants are #5 in the NFC, Atlanta is #6.

I'm thinking Raiders-Eagles in the superbowl.

1. Colts v. Jets Jets 28-21

2. Packers v. Falcons 20-14

The Falcons can't hack cold weather.

3. Pittsburgh v. Cleveland Cleveland 17-14

My head says I should pick Pittsburghers, but my heart is orange and brown!

4. Giants - 24 49ers - 30

49ers have the offense to overcome the Giants defense, but not vice versa.

LOL, so far NOBODY has even mentioned Tennessee. :)

They took the Oilers out of Houston, but they didn't take the Oilers out of the Titans. Therefore--

I predict they'll fumble on the one-yard line as time runs out. The only question will be --against whom.

The Titans had 11-5 record this year. Everybody who was a "Luv ya Blue" Oiler fan will remember this is close to if not the record "Bum" Phillips had when he was fired by Bud Adams.

That was the beginning of the end of the Oilers in Houston. The fans never really forgave Adams who is still one of the most unpopular people in Houston. Adams makes Ken Lay look like a saint.

I believe it will be Tampa Bay and Oakland in the Super Bowl. If that is the case, I'll root for the Raiders as it would be nice to see Rich Gannon get a ring at age 37. What an achievement already for Gannon!

But I thought head-to-head only counts if the record is the same. The Giants have a better record.

What a complete and utter waste this stupid playoff system is. The regular season now has no meaning, every game isn't crucial, and it just isn't as exciting in the final weeks without the teams fighting for BCS rankings and bowl seedings. Plus there is nothing to argue about, and these playoff games don't come close to the tradition, excitement, and pagentry that the bowls would offer. Surely its time for a better system.

Wouldn't the world be perfect if instead of this boring playoff system we just took the top 2 teams for a single national championship game and then let all the rest with winning records play exhibition games in bowls? Let sports media members(who saw maybe 1/4th of the relevant games) and computer geeks subjectively select the top 2 teams, and perhaps 6 more to play in 'premium' exhibition bowls. Less pressure and worry for all but 2 teams and their fans, and half the teams and their fans end the season with a win. Utopia within grasp.

So how would it be right now if the NFL idiots(who despite themselves for some unexplainable reason have crafted by far the most successful sports league) would adopt the far superior BCS system(which would better reflect 'the will of the people' and the 'popular vote', since the BCS is a 'living, breathing system'):

Philadelphia and Tampa Bay meet in the national championship game down in Tempe. Clearly this is the game that everyone
wants to see. Reward for dominating and standing out in the regular season. C'mon, can any team with 5 losses really have any legitimate claim to playing in the nat'l championship game? Why should we reward mediocrity? The Eagles and Bucs have done all that was asked of them, why should we penalize them by allowing lesser teams to upset them from their rightly earned place in the title game?

The Orange Bowl would feature perhaps the best matchup, with the Jets(sells tickets in S. FL) playing the Titans, the team nobody wants to play right now. Too bad they struggled at the start of the season, nonetheless we can't have them polluting the champ. game with a good playoff run. Luckily for TN, the independent Dallas Cowboys' loss to the Redskins left them one game short of the required 6 victories for their BCS eligibility, and the disappointed Orange was unable to find a loophole to select them.

The Rose would take the Raiders and Green Bay(both travel well), while the Sugar takes Pittsburgh and New Orleans(since they would draw better than the 49'ers). The 49'ers cry foul, but hey, its not a playoff, so what does it really matter? San Francisco can still look forward to a nice trip to San Diego and the Holiday Bowl against the Chargers. Wouldn't Cincinnatians have a much better holiday if the Bengals were playing Atlanta in the Pissant City Music Bowl? Nothing like a nice trip to Tennessee in January to relieve a disappointing season.

Yes, clearly the NFL could learn a thing or two from college football. What a shame that we are stuck with this boring playoff system that makes a sham of the regular season. Last weekend's games just weren't the same.

You still let him live in Houston though. Neither Art nor David modell can come back to northeast Ohio without a disguise, an armed escort, or both.

They'll probably end up burying Art on an island like they did Princess Diana, to prevent "pilgrimages" in (heavily beer stocked) buses.

Which probably is why the Browns only gave up 12 tds on the ground this year....

I'm not committing to the Eagles until I see how McNabb comes back from his injury. If he comes back looking good to decent, then the Bucs will be out. If he is a little off it could be a game like the Giants-Eagles season finaly in which I think the Giants will come out on top and have to go to Tampa to play the Bucs.

Sentimentally, I want to lean towards Green Bay since my Rams are out of the playoffs, but if they win, then they have to travel to Tampa and Favre seems to have trouble in that stadium.(Kinda like the Metrodome)

The Steelers - Cleveland game could go either way. I'm leaning towards the Steelers based on home field advantage.

I've watched several 49er games this year. As a Ram fan I try and watch games in my division. (That and I have to fight to keep from watching a bunch of lousy Cowboy games in this area) The '9ers have not looked like a playoff team all year. They've won 10 games but several of these wins were ugly. They just didn't look like they were a cohesive team. With the Giants being on a recent surge, I think the 49ers will lose this game.

The Browns were 6-2 on the road this year, tied with Tampa for the best in the NFL.

Long enough to take us back to the Superbowl, hopefully! Go Cowboys!

So you think Parcells is going to buy the entire Cowboys team tickets to the Superbowl?
