Fair enough position, I just disagree with you.

OK, I understand that. But since I usually agree with you, let me try to change your mind on this one issue.

The democrats were able to get America into its current state of disrepair by seizing power and clinging to it with the force of a Gila monster latching onto the finger of an unsuspecting tourist.

Power in Washington is derived largely from seniority. Nancy Pelosi is a prime example. From her website:

She comes to the Leader’s role after 15 years in the House . . .

Congresswoman Pelosi brings strong credentials in both the foreign and domestic arenas to her role as leader of her party. Before becoming leader, she served as Ranking Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, which exercises oversight of all U.S. government intelligence activities. Her focus on the committee was to ensure that the executive branch has the tools it needs to protect the United States - our armed forces, our national interests, and our civil liberties.

She has also served as a senior member of the powerful House Appropriations Committee and had considerable influence on funding the nation's priorities - both domestic and foreign. She has focused on issues of key importance to the nation's families, particularly on education and health care. She has been a leader in doubling the NIH budget in five years and a powerful voice for protecting the environment and human rights around the world.

You don't get that kind of power in six years.

We need to get people who will advance our agenda -- pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment, anti-tax -- put them in place, and keep them there until the last democrat dries up and blows away.

Just like the real world, your business will suffer if you have a high turnover rate among your employees. If we keep dumping good congressmen just for the sake of change, we're never going to get anywhere. We'll just keep retraining new people to do what the old people were good at.

So, whaddaya think?

I don't neccessarily disagree with you, and perhaps they never should have made the change at all. However, I think that it will look very, very bad when they change it. That's what I am worried about.
