** Action Alert ** Ask Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA) to RESIGN
http://www.petitiononline.com/pmurray/petition.html ^ | TODAY | David C. Osborne

It was great to see FOX report on this story today.. I think Sen. Murray's response was lacking, and she accuses us of "twisting" her words... Anyone who sees the tape could tell she was trying to convince her audiance that we need to be more like Bin Laden! - Imagine that a U.S. Senator putting Bin Laden on a pedastool to attack the Presidents agenda.. dispicable..

Hannity did a good segment on her tonight also.

I don't know who the guy was on the show who was trying to defend her, but he was the usual shrill liberal who talked in circles.

I can't believe that it took so long for any TV newscasters to report on this subject. Murray was sure trying to back peddle and deflect the issue today. Hope she's gone in a hurry. Our kids have enough strikes against them trying to survive to adulthood, we certainly don't need to have idiots giving speeches to them and messing them up even more.

Not a good idea. If she resigns Gary Locke, the democrat governor will merely appoint another liberal democrat to take her place and that liberal democrat will probably win in 2004. If Patty Murray stays and runs for reelection this can be used to defeat her and get a real conservative in her place.

I want slow steady pressure on Patty, but I do not want her to resign!

She is in the Senate Democrat leadership, where she promised to gain seats and lost them instead. She is obviously not very smart, so let her remain there. I want her to continue to contribute to the loss of seats in two years, even her own. I will campaign for Dunn or Nethercutt, whoever runs against her.

I don't expect her to resign.. that is the point.. it shows the world that Democrats are ONLY interested in being the OPOSITION party... she will continue to stay in office.. and continue to look ridiculous oposing the Majority!!

Sorry. I want Ms. Murray to retain her post, only to lose horribly in 2004 due to a series of TV commercials outlining her "respect" for OBL.

I see no harm in asking her to do the right thing, knowing perfectly well that she won't resign. By signing the petition, it shows the media that a lot of us are really ticked off.
