HELP KEEP THE LIGHTS ON: JOIN THE FREEPATHON AND SUPPORT OUR SITE

The Free Republic first quarter '03 FReepathon is now underway! .... Thread 3

Our goal for this fundraiser is the same as last quarter: $65,000. We have about $4,000 per month coming in from monthly donors so we will need to raise approx $53,000 to hit the target.

The funds raised through these fundraisers are used to pay our operating costs. Free Republic operates on an approximate $260,000 annual budget (breakdown here) and all funds are provided by donations from FReepers and Lurkers.

P.S. We are planning to make FreeRepublic.com email addresses available as a thank you to all who donate at least once per year. This new feature should be ready to go within a few days. We will post a notice and a link for donors to setup their FR email address as soon as it's ready.

I have an idea. I will donate $25 each for two people in Delaware who will pledge $10 monthlies. Got it? That will be $50, if two people in Delaware become monthly donors of #10 each.

Ok.......so one little girl got 46 boxes...and YOUR DAUGHTER (not you, Mom) got 8 cases? How many boxes are in a case?

When the granddaughters (4 of them) have fundraisers.....we are just automatically put down for $40 dollars worth. We have candy bars in the freezer that, I think, are about 3 years old.

But we get even......when they visit...and we do s'mores out around the campfire in our back yard......we use THOSE SAME candybars.....BWHAHAHAHAHA!

There are 12 boxes in a case .. but theirs had a mixture of different cookies mine didn't

THEN .. my other daughter who is Brownies has to sell cookies also

and I just KNOW I'm gonna be eating cookies till next winter

I just checked and, since this FReepathon started, we have increased monthly donations by $714 per month.

That is very good, and we're not through yet.
