To:  Sniper Victim's Families

We, the undersigned, are in full support of Bushmaster in any future legal precedings. We are intelligent Americans, and we are a dying breed.

We understand that a person should be held responsible for their actions, not the tool they use to carry them out. It is not Bushmaster's responsibility to investigate every dealer they sell to, that is the job of the Federal Government, through the ATF.

We find it appalling that people are so hungry for money that they wish to capitalize on the death of a loved one to gain financially.

By signing this, we pledge to support Bushmaster firearms whole-heartedly, and at all costs.

Some of us may begin boycotting news and media organizations as a result of the ensuing lawsuits.

We want our country back.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned

"Perhaps you should provide some support for this point."

That would be nice, but I don't even have the paperwork any more. True, these are my personal allegations but I stand by them. I'm not asking for people to believe me without checking into it themselves. I am putting out the facts as I know them to be and urging that people heed the old dictum: caveat emptor.

Should you follow that advice and need more information, I suggest you go to those members of the gun community that had dealings with them at that time. As I said in my first post: "Anyone (Any FFL's out there?) with any dealing with them at that time can confirm these facts."

I just re-read the reasons you originally posted and find your response reasonable. I apologize for challenging your reasons without having read them carefully.

Thanks, but no apologies are really needed, although I respect you for your honorable words. I actually expected more criticism and, frankly, I'm surprised by the lack. Gun owners can be cranky people, rightly, when it comes to the defense of their freedom.
