Fellow Freepers, the HAT chapter has bestowed the honor on me to be our spokesman Tuesday night in Houston on the Patriot Television Network television show at 6:30.As time has permitted I have been doing a fair amount of research on our positions, and I think I have some pretty good points to make. This is the email the host sent me.
| The show that you will be on will be covering US
| foreign policy and how it relates to issue in Iraq
| (i.e. why we might be going to war), North Korea (i.e.
| what are we to do and how did we get this mess in the
| first place), War on Terrorism, Israeli/Palestinian
| conflict etc...
I need a little help on finding some articles on why this is not a war for oil as Im sure that is the first thing the libs on the show will trot out. Im not sure how secure this forum is and we dont want to tip any spies off so if you could give me your thoughts and suggestions via Freepmail, Ill be happy to buy you a beer next time I see you.

Don't know about you all, but I'm about friggin' tired of these idiots invoking the name of Reverend King. I don't know that he'd support this either (I doubt it) but I'm sure he'd at least be contributing something to the discussion besides trendy rants and tired rhetoric.
I wonder if these folks whining about not being "free" have noticed where they are... Protesting against US Government policy. Yeah that happens everywhere. Actually it does, a lot of countries have protests against US Government policy - just not their own countries' policies.

Did you notice the Korean woman said "anti-US" then very quickly said "anti-war". Im not sure if she meant to say both or if she slipped up for a minute and the real motivation behind this rally came forward. At any rate, the people at this rally are vocally cheering the anti-american statements.

Did anybody hear this man say he lost 3/4's of his body? If you count brains as 1/2 of your body, I guess he's right.
What is that big white thing with wings at the protest? Looks like a peace condom. It looks used because the tip is yellow.

It's amazing, virtually everyone of these speakers are saying what is actually happening: starvation, no freeedom, repression, no civil rights...dictator.
But their brains are in so backwards they are attributing these things to OUR Country. To bad they don't know they are perfectly describing why we are going to war, to fight against all the things they are describing which are going on in Iraq etc.
If someone just dropped in from another planet and listened to these traitors and terrorist supporters they would think if the USA were destroyed there would be peace on earth.
Democratic brainwashing at it's best.
It's actually good to see them out themselves so dramatically.

Jesse needs to address that---give peace a chance---to those 3000 at the WTC. Wonder how those 3000 would respond, if they could?

From my WWII desk calendar for January 18th/19th:
On January 19, 1944, the U.S. government returns control of the rail service to the railroad companies after management and workers settle a wage dispute. The lines were seized to ensure that goods continued to flow for the war effort.
Bet there weren't very many anti-war protesters back then!
