KLT, it was a pleasure to freep with you again. Thanks for taking the time and risk of joining us on the coldest day of the year so far. It was a good day. Now take care of yourself so you don't come down with pneumonia after being in the cold so long. FReep On!

A South Korean protester holds the national flags of the United States and South Korea (news - web sites) during an anti-North Korea (news - web sites) rally in Seoul, January 19, 2003. About 30,000 protesters rallied in the the South Korean capital on Sunday, calling on North Korea to re-enter a global nuclear treaty. They also voiced their opposition to the withdrawal of U.S. troops from South Korea. REUTERS/Kim Kyung-Hoon

Excellent post! Thank you so much. I felt such outrage and frustration watching all these "parasites." Of course we never see our side of the equation on the news. I was grumpy all weekend, but now I've got a smile on my face. Thank you God, for Free Republic, and George Bush!!

I'm not seeing any photos on this thread--only the descriptions. I even tried the yahoo link at the top and can't see the photos there either. Is there something I'm not doing?

Hmm, no idea. Is your available drive space low? Maybe there is no room for the photos to load.

I went to the top most link (AP and Reuters via Yahoo) and it goes to the right place. I've also clicked all of the individual links and gotten to the correct Yahoo pages (I voted the photos as popular; the opposition is voting down these and the South Korean rally photos).

Other possibility is that the photos may have difficulty all loading in (this is a graphic intense thread but I am working from dialup). If the photos don't load in quick enough (too many photos trying to load) then you may get the Red X.

You should be able to go to each photo and right click to "show picture". Or you could try clicking through to the original Yahoo pages.

There aren't any links showing up either. For example, comment #3 shows only:

Metropolitan police officers stand guard as pro-war demonstrators protest in the background, Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003 in Washington. (AP Photo/Charlie Dharapak)

No picture, no link, nothing but the words above. I went to yahoo and it's the same thing...no pictures, only the verbiage. I've noticed on other threads tonight that some of the pictures are missing; others are there. On this thread I see only one picture (#27, I think).

Hide and watch.

I prefer a confrontational approach if that's the case. No hiding.

There are 2 photos cited in #27. One is from CNN, the other from Yahoo.

I have set a weblink inside of each photo so that clicking it will go to Yahoo.

It's possible that you have some sort of ad/popup remover that belives that the graphics on the page are "ads" since they are hotlinks to other websites.

Thanks for posting all these great photos! There are some new ones of our FReepers that I hadn't seen before, and I wasn't even aware of the incredible pro-USA rally in South Korea until I saw your thread! On the tube, all I've seen of Korea is the coverage of the anti-USA rallies there.
