Clinton: Prepare for globalism - a future when America no longer "the biggest dog on the street"

Clinton talks on the global economy at N.Y.U.

Former President Bill Clinton called on an audience of students to prepare for a future when America will no longer be "the biggest dog on the street" at the keynote address Tuesday of a New York University forum on globalization.

The current globalized world is not sustainable economically, politically or from a security vantage point, Clinton said at the second annual conference co-sponsored by New York University and the William J. Clinton Presidential Foundation. Clinton spoke to an audience of about 450 students and guests.

"On Sept. 11, 2001, members of Al Quaeda used the forces of globalization - open borders, easy immigration, easy travel, easy access to information technology - to kill 3,100 people from 70 countries in three cities in the U.S.," Clinton said.

There are ways to improve our security without sacrificing civil liberties, Clinton stressed. For starters, our government needs to start using the same kinds of tracking systems employed by direct marketers and credit card companies, he said.

With such technology the government in a short period of time can track people who have multiple addresses on file, such as Sept. 11 ringleader Mohammed Atta, who had 12 addresses registered in the U.S, Clinton said. The government could also monitor people who have accrued a lot of credit card debt, he added, giving the example of the Sept. 11 terrorist who racked up $260,000 of debt on 30 credit cards.

Profiling people according to their movements or debt is much preferable than "profiling people because of their religion or ethnic heritage or whatever else," Clinton said, adding that people with such extreme habits were "either rich or up to no good."

The former president also touched on topics including the nuclear crisis in North Korea, economic initiatives in Africa, the Kyoto protocol on global warming and primary education in Mexico and Brazil. He said that the U.S. must help create a global society with "shared benefits, shared responsibility and shared values."

Clinton acknowledged that, "this is not the sexiest subject on the block." But he tried his best to add some flair with the analogy, "If none of us ever joined anything unless we got our way all the time, nobody would get married."

Students had high marks for the former chief executive.

"He throws out a lot of different tidbits of information about different countries," said Hiss an Baja, a 22-year-old first-year law student from California, adding, "The reason I came to N.Y.U. Law is because it's known as the global law school."

The day featured three panels on important topics in the globalization debate. Panelists included Robert Rubin, former secretary of the Treasury; Sandy Berger, former National Security Advisor to President Clinton; and George Soros, the investor and philanthropist. Moderators included Bernard Shaw, C.N.N.'s former anchor; and Karen DeYoung, associate editor at the Washington Post.

If you're so smart, why didn't you use it when you were President, instead of diddling interns ?

The day we're no longer "top dog" will come because of your treasonous sell-out, BJClinton.

I see the core of the American New World Order, 'give away our superiority for a few bucks and a future Global Government post' traitors (that really did their best to diminish America and bring about the world xxxlinton spoke about above) got together for an unholy brainwashing event. This group needs a good spanking.

Yes this happened because Clinton and his administration began forcing globalization on the American people with NAFTA, GATT, his council on sustainable development and the many treaties and executive orders he signed. He also made very sure that America would be in the fight for her life by GIVING the US Patent database to China, by GIVING nuclear weapons and missile technology to China and by reducing trade barriers so our patriotic and honorable congressmen (like Diane Feinstein) could invest in the slave labor and low wage factories in China and become wealthy beyond their dreams, which is accelerating the death of the American middle class.

Bill wasn't it your INS director, Doris Meisner, who said she didn't believe in borders and stopped every attempt by anyone to secure them?

Yes Bill, it has been your dream all along to destroy America and you are not kidding when you say America will fall-- because YOU put the mechanisms in place to cause it to happen.

Curiously enough, Clinton's net is going to grab a lot of people who produce short films. Many of them run up truly extreme credit card debt to try and get their dreams on celluloid.

I would think it would be both a lot easier and a lot more accurate to trace immigration by muslims and association with known terror groups. We could have gotten the September 11th gang by tracing their funding from people with terrorist ties outside of the country.

Finally, I have to agree with Canuck Conservative - if not us, who?

What's strange is that Clinton almost seems like he's gloating at our likely reduction in status. Why?

I think Ol' Slick is still campaigning to be Sec'y Gen'l of the UN. He plans to rule the world.
And the worst part is that this is probably the only country who can stop him.

Treason alert.

While he was president clinton sold China MIRVed ICBM technology for campaign contributions, and also gave them the latest information on how to build nuclear warheads. So he did the very best he could to ensure that China would be a bigger dog than it would have been otherwise.

And of course he gave Iraq and North Korea plenty of opportunities to develop their nuclear capabilities too.

And he stood by while China armed Pakistan with Nukes and missiles to deliver them.

So altogether he did everything he could to help make this prophecy come about.

Isn't it true that Billy Jeff's allies in the effort are also Tony Blair of England and Schrorder of Germany? I think this is what they refer to as the Third World Order in which the 3 of them have grand ideas of running the world according to their methods and ideology. I remember reading something to the effect about 3 or 4 years ago.

My interpretation of clintoon's speech - as valid as the printed version:

Letter to the Editor of Hot Springs Sentinel record:

Clinton - Insults United States of America

The Impeached ex-president, Bill Clinton, insulted all the citizens of the United States of America on January 14, 2003 by calling on an audience of students at the New York University to prepare for a future when America will no longer be "the biggest dog on the street".

During his continuing verbal assault on Americans, Clinton also blamed "the rich" for the attacks on the World Trade Center stating that the government should not be "profiling people because of their religion or ethnic heritage or whatever else," but to profile "according to their movements or debt". Clinton said, added that people with such habits were "either rich or up to no good."

(In this case I may agree. The clintons are rich AND up to no good.)

The speech concluded in typical clintonese rhetoric, "this is not the sexiest subject on the block."

It was called the Third Way-- which is just another euphemism for socialism which we all know it the intermediate step between Laissez-faire econonomy and communism.

Bill is a Leninist marxist, I think, because he favors a feudalistic system where there is an elitist global class which acts as a "benevolent" dicatatorship over the worlds people. You know he just wants to be Dad to America, because when the question of tax cuts came up in his administration, he told the American people, "You wouldn't spend the money right". Better to leave it to old Uncle Bill and his cronies, Soros, Rubin, and Blair.

Commie Krinton will not rule the rule ... as has always been the case with this liar, without the puppeteers above him he is little more than just another slimey salesman.

His power comes from David (who-would-be-King-of-the-world) Rockefeller and his Council On Foreign Relations/Trilat/GLOBALONEY buddies who are more than happy to trade the future good of America and our U.S.Constitution, for their own selfish, traitorous GREED.

Uh, have you been to California lately? Its the posterchild for mr. clinton's socialist ambitions for this country and has adopted all things "sustainable" that Bill mentioned in his speech. If other states fall in line, and the legislation is already there, sown by bill clintons council on sustainable developement in the EPA and federal code, America won't be able to drive anything soon.

You're dreaming.

China's technology is years behind the US already (especially on the military side), and will never catch up. Remember, there's a big difference between just building a TV or computer (which any third-world country can do - look at South Korea) and creating new technological breakthroughs (which are what keeps the US on top). Look at the number of patents issued worldwide - China is light-years behind the US when it comes to new ideas.

"open borders, easy immigration, easy travel, easy access to information technology"

The 9/11 murderers got in because of OPEN BORDERS. They got in because the INS refused to do its job, and never deported those who shouldn't have been in.They got on the planes because the airport security was not allowed to profile them because profiling people on their country of origin is BAD FOR GLOBALISM. Even if the country is a known terrorist state. And remember Mad Albright??!! SHE refused to call terrorist countries by that name, she put together a huge effort to rename them as "states of concern"

***The rogue states of the world have vanished--at least from the rhetoric ofthe State Department.

Secretary of State Madeleine K. Albright said in a National Public Radiointerview yesterday that henceforth nasty, untrustworthy, missile-equipped countries will be known as "states of concern."****

You can't have globalization with open borders if people are afraid other nations will use the lack of security to harm them. So you have to make people believe that we're all just one big happy global family. " You might be worried about a rogue state, but you won't call to close the border if the state department is only "concerned".

Open borders and the ineffectual INS are a DIRECT result of Bill's globalization efforts. The muslims didn't open our borders to allow them their murderous attack, Bill did!

"In the 21st Century, less than 5 years from now the Asian economies will exceed in size that of the United States. China's economy is expected to continue to grow at a blistering 10% or more per year until its economy surpasses ours sometime within the next two decades. Clearly, while the 20th century was the American century, the 21st Century belongs to Asia."

http://www.pangaea.net/ign/fjet0001.htm

"If, as expected, China’s economy surpasses the US by 2015 and India’s reachesvthe size of Japan’s, it is almost inevitable that therewill be a change in the composition of the world’s top global companies."

This is America no longer top dog that Clinton spoke about. This is the path he created by giving China the technology and the backing of investors by the US government, to knock down our economy and bolster theirs.

The quotes are just two of many. The globalists have long planned to make China an economic powerhouse. An American congressman can invest in China and have her investment protected by the US treasury. She can't invest in her own country and have a fail safe investment. Where do you think she will invest? Why are so many congressmen and government officials doing business with China? Do you think they know something we don't?

If the busy anti-American beavers weren't working away at undermining our economy and our way of life we might be able to stay strong, but that just isn't what's happening right now.

Just look at all the anti-war protests that happened over the weekend. The core group organizing them was the World Workers Party. Look at how the media is pushing their viewpoint in the broadcasts. Doesn't it concern you that major media takes the side of known communist agitators like the World Workers Party and ANSWER? Communists are taking a very strong hold in this country, America's freedoms and values are being assaulted from every angle.
