I'm sure it's true that Governor Ryan's action was widely lauded, but it's also true that it was widely criticized. Wouldn't the article be more balanced if the author had noted that fact too?

I know it was criticized within the U.S. I just assume that it was also criticized outside the U.S. I may be assuming too much.
