42 million abortions over 30 years comes out to 3,835.6 PER DAY each and every day, 365 days a year. I just don't buy your numbers. Please provide data/source?

I've been doing pro-life work for almost 20 years. For longer than that, the average has been around 4,000 per day in this country. I'll find you a source for it, but that number is accurate.

42,000,000+ reported "legal" surgical abortions since 1973. Perhaps this visual perspective helps one to grasp the number of people that are gone,...

Have you ever thought that perhaps, that's 42,000,000 less people in our prisons or on death row??? That's where most UNWANTED babies go when they grow up. Maybe you can make a move to adopt all these Unwanteds.

However, it is just as wrong (and damaging to our credibility) to make up statistics

BTW, we didn't need to "make up" those statistics. They're real.

That's where most UNWANTED babies go when they grow up. That's the stupidest assertion I have ever read at FR! Name just one of these aborted little ones that's ever committed a crime, dolt.

Do you really think it's better to murder babies than to try to give them a better upbringing?

BTW, my wife and I would love to adopt an "unwanted" baby, but almost none are available, thanks to the abortionists.

Cut her some slack. There's a lot of competition for that award. :)

You're right of course. I've tossed a chip in that game on occasion myself! [Perhaps I should find a new tagline?]

Ludwig von Beethoven was the 21st child in his family. Would it've been better to just snuff him out? Maybe excess children are worth keeping.

Hey Genius. Idaho is on that map. Apparently you ARE 6, or at least have the geography skills of a six-year old.

You've obviously never been to these states; the Rockies and Tetons run through most of them. Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, New Mexico - All beautiful states. All with enough scenery to take your breath away. But you'd know that, if you'd ever been.

Yeah, your comment was flippant, all right. And maybe even a little ignorant, as well.

But hey, what do we expect from a six-year old, right?

Yes, but you'll notice that the NY Times and all the national press corpse are still alive. We are being drug down by those in NY, CA, FL, and the international socialists elsewhere.

The states aborted are those not represented now anyway.

(/sarcasm off .....)

Jane, you ignorant slut.
Not that it is any of your damn business, but in 1980, and again in 1983, my wife and I adopted infants that would otherwise have been murdered in their mother's wombs. They have been raised in a loving home and are now aged 20 and 22. Neither of them are candidates for prison, thank you very much. They vote conservative. How do you think THEY feel about the abortion issue?
Just what have YOU done to try to stop this holocost? Hide thyself beneath a rock lest ye be smitten. You bitch.

Abortion is fully legal in this country.

Perjury and lies and supporting lies is illegal in this country. Abortion prevents a child from his free accademic research and truth seeking. It is at the minimum illegal on grounds of obstructing the very justice upon which we claim to found abortion.

You must be very young or if not then quite jaded to be so callous. With all due respect...I see you here quite a bit and you frequently post heartless comments. Is it a sport to you or are you simply cold?

Not young. I care for family and friends. Beyond that I refuse to have feelings. I operate by logic alone. To do otherwise would be too painful.

I agree with you about your baby.
Any fetus that is viable outside the womb is a seperate person and has rights.
Any fetus that is not viable outside the womb is no different from a corn or wart and can be removed at will.

I think any biologist and most doctors would disagree with that statement, medically and scientifically. But your correct that legally, that's how we treat the unborn.
