This is a great way to make fundraising fun. I gave what I thought was a generous amount last time for the whole year. Perhaps I will give again in the next quarter since Freepers are my "lifeline" especially during these difficult times.

Put me down for a buck a mussell.
I think this is a terrific idea for raising funds.
I've had an idea of my own that I've been kicking around for a while.
FR ought to have a "Casino" section where fundraising challenges such as this could be posted.
I never would have seen this post if I hadn't been flagged by another poster.
I'd visit such a section all the time to see how much money was raised, how many mussells were eaten, and so forth.
Friendly wagers could be made there, with the stakes being a donation to FR. I just saw a guy donate $100 that way a couple of days ago.
This of course would have to be cleared with JR to make sure it was all within the letter of the law. I can't imagine that any gambling laws would apply, but these days you never know.
Anyway, I've got the basics written down now and I can work on it from there.
Comments and suggestions encouraged.
