More fun... whoopee!

Morocco · At Agadir in Morocco, reports Peter Kolosimo, the French Captain Lafanechere "discovered a complete arsenal of hunting weapons including five hundred double-edged axes weighing seventeen and a half pounds, which were twenty times as heavy as would be convenient for modern man. To handle the axe at all one would need to have hands of a size appropriate to a giant with a stature of at least 13 feet.

Let's see... Battle axes weighing 17.5 lbs. are TWENTY TIMES too heavy for the convenience of modern man! Right. How many soldiers want to go into battle with Axes weighing only 14 ounces... teeny, tiny axes. I have an antique double-bladed battle axe hanging on the wall and I estimate it weighs about 8-9 lbs. A websearch for modern replicas finds most of them weighing in at about 7-9 lbs.

A seventeen pound specimin would be heavy... but some battle axes had shafts five feet long. Nope, just more flum-flummery about non-existant artifacts.

Thank you for the info. I thought it was a hoax when I received it in the email. I couldn't find anything To prove or disprove it. Of course, my time is limited and I couldn't take the time to do a through search.
Thanks again J

They are stored in secret government warehouses all over the world... of course! ;^)

Yes, wasn't the existence of that warehouse proven beyond all doubt by "Raiders of the Lost Ark"?

Resurrecting a 2003 thread qualifies as archeology in itself! ;^)

I didn't notice that. Must be something wrong with the date sort on the GGG index. Came up near the top of the list when I dropped by.

That would be nice if the remains of these Giants were available. Unfortunately the government covers up anything thing that may contradict our present excistence. The Smithonian Institute should release all information it knows about the Giants that were found here in America or around the world. That won’t haven. So we are left with, are the stories true about past excistance of these Giants?

This is some obvious facts thrown in by his different sources, with ones completely false and absurd. Now the troubling thing about this is, it makes the entire lot of ‘his’ research look like a absolute joke..

The maths should of been done before you posted :/
