A very interesting article, written by a Japanese journalist, on the Palestinian people.

If you are so sure that "Palestine, the country, goes back through most of recorded history", I expect you to be able to answer a few basic questions about that country of Palestine:

When was it founded and by whom? What were its borders? What was its capital? hat were its major cities? What constituted the basis of its economy? What was its form of government? Can you name at least one Palestinian leader before Arafat? Was Palestine ever recognized by a country whose existence, at that time or now, leaves no room for interpretation? What was the language of the country of Palestine? What was the prevalent religion of the country of Palestine? What was the name of its currency? Choose any date in history and tell what was the approximate exchange rate of the Palestinian monetary unit against the US dollar, German mark, GB pound, Japanese yen, or Chinese yuan on that date. And, finally, since there is no such country today, what caused its demise and when did it occur? You are lamenting the "low sinking" of "once proud" nation. Please tell me, when exactly was that "nation" proud and what was it so proud of? And here is the least sarcastic question of all: If the people you mistakenly call "Palestinians" are anything but generic Arabs collected from all over -- or thrown out of -- the Arab world, if they really have a genuine ethnic identity that gives them right for self-determination, why did they never try to become independent until Arabs suffered their devastating defeat in the Six Day War?

I hope you avoid the temptation to trace the modern day "Palestinians" to   the Biblical Philistines: substituting etymology for history won't work here.

The truth should be obvious to everyone who wants to know it. Arab countries have never abandoned the dream of destroying Israel; they still cherish it today. Having time and again failed to achieve their evil goal with military means, they decided to fight Israel by proxy. For that purpose, they created a terrorist organization, cynically called it "the Palestinian people" and  installed it in Gaza, Judea, and Samaria. How else can you explain the refusal by Jordan and Egypt to unconditionally accept back the "West Bank" and Gaza, respectively? The fact is, Arabs populating Gaza, Judea, and Samaria have much less claim to nationhood than that Indian tribe that successfully emerged in Connecticut  with the purpose of starting a tax-exempt casino: at least that tribe had a constructive goal that motivated them. The so called "Palestinians" have only one motivation: the destruction of Israel, and in my book that is not sufficient to consider them a nation" -- or anything else except what they really are: a terrorist organization that will one day be dismantled. In fact, there is only one way to achieve peace in the Middle East. Arab countries must acknowledge and accept their defeat in their war against Israel and, as the losing side should, pay Israel reparations for the more than 50 years of devastation they have visited on it. The most appropriate form of such reparations would be the removal of their terrorist organization from the land of Israel and accepting Israel's ancient sovereignty over Gaza, Judea, and Samaria. That will mark the end of the Palestinian people. What are you saying again was its beginning?

You are absolutely correct in your understanding of the "Palestinians" murderous motives. I am afraid however that you, along with 99% of the population of this planet have missed the beginning of WWIII (the enemy call it Jihad) quite a few years ago. The siege of the US embassy in Tehran in 1979, an event to which the latest Nobel Peace Prize winner had so miserably failed to respond, can be very well used as the day WWIII stepped out of the pages of the Koran and into the current events.

I pray the United States and Israel lead the world to victory in this war. Come to think of it, there is no choice, be you a Christian, a Jew, or even, believe it or not, a Muslim.

Another Japanese writer sees the light...

Found at swordoftruth.com

12 Bloody Days in Israel

This Is My Story!

Last year, a local Japanese NGO (partially financed by some European sources as I later found out) organised a trip to Israel to show 'Japanese-Solidarity' with the Palestinian cause.

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion airport, we were greeted by a very friendly and charming arab girl in her mid 20s. She was to be our official tour guide. The driver of our bus was an arab man in his 30s. They were both very accomdating.

On our way to the arab neighbourhood of Jerusalem, we encountered a roadblock manned by young Israeli soldiers. There had been a terrorist attack ahead and the victim was shot to death. As our bus approached the scene, naturally we enquired about what had happened. Our guide told us in rather good Japanese that the Israelis had shot an arab to death. (I later found out that it was the direct opposite!) Throughout our journey, she had been intentionally feeding us with lies and propagandas about the situation in Israel, twisting and turning every facet of truth into very reasonable lies. She was very well trained and polished. The Palestinians were always presented as victims and the Israelis are always portrayed as the aggressors. (I know it is the opposite now as well!) The Israelis seems to be always in the wrong, no matter what the facts on the ground were. I was already wondering how could that be when I could clearly see for myself what was really happening. I was shocked!

Prior to becoming the CEO of my paper, I had worked in several news bureaus as a journalist in Japan. We would usually base most of our foreign news from the international news network that we are usually affiliated with. I was so shocked to see that foreign journalists employed by these news bureaus were not only biased and prejudiced in their reports and assessments of the real situation in Israel, but morally corrupt as well. Simply put, they are pro-Arab, and pro-Palestinian. Some of the reasons I was to find out later during my stay in this country.

Foreign journalists covering the news in Israel are mostly very involved with local people. Not Jewish, but arab men and women. I could see that for myself. Even the local staffs employed are arabs, whether Israeli-arabs or Palestinian-arabs. I was disgusted with the moral standards of these people. I mean, how could you ever expect to report accurately when the journalists themselves are of such low quality - in terms of morals, principles and values? Sex, money and material greed is very much a factor involved in their conclusions. I ask myself how could we simply believe these self-serving journalism?

Almost everything that I witnessed during my stay in Israel was not what the international news medias and pro-arab western or eastern governments and the like, institutions or NGOs, etc., had portrayed to the world. The Jewish people are truly suffering from the worst terrorist war the world has ever seen. The pre-meditated arab terror war, well-planned and executed under the guise of pretending to the world that they are the victims, is really taking a heavy toll on the brave and resilient people of Israel. Any foreign governments who choose to take a pro-arab stand is actually really a part of abetting, encouraging and supporting this terror war against the state of Israel.

It is time for people around the world to take a united stand against such cruelty and barbaric-brutality. Terrorism must not win nor succeed. It must never be appeased, pacified or supported because by doing just that, the world will one day face an apocalypse of horrendous proportion - Islamic/Arab nuclear, biological and chemical terrorism of a magnitude that may be what the Jewish and Christian Bibles call - Armageddon!

It is time to sound the alarm bell. It has been my privilege as a CEO of a news bureau to have access to some very real information and secrets that many ordinary people do not know due to intentional censorship. It is time to wake-up!

PLEASE TAKE THIS REPORT SEROUSLY!

No offense, ladyesk, but I get nervous when people get things from e-mails. So I looked up the author's name and found the original article (or at least a reprint).

Anyway, thanks for the post

Trivia Question!

Who was the first U.S. President to welcome a "representative of the Palestinian people" to the White House?

Extra credit: Who was the Palestinian representative?

Freepmail me for the link with the answer.

Further bonus point: Can you name the "foreign leader" who visited that particular President's White House more than any other foreign leader? (Hint: It was the same Palestinian representative one named for extra credit.)

Regardless of those who doubt the source of this article, the questions asked are on target, and the article is a good one.

Great find and thank you!

TomB is entirely correct -- even with good articles like this one it is best to know where the original came from. For all we know what you got in email was edited to a degree that it had little/nothing to do with the original author. Does anyone know who is the author anyway?

I did a Google search. This article is posted on various pages around the web, but "Yashiko Sagamori" is variously identified as "an Information Technology consultant in New York" and "candidate for Secretary of State of California" (party not given.)

This page has an email address, if it is valid, write Yoshiko and invite him to join Free Republic.
