http://www.votr.org is a web site that NRSTA has sponsored to cut across flat income tax/National Retail Sales Tax lines and demand that the Congress begin the tax replacement debate now.
We ask that people sign the petition, and at the appropriate time, we will present them to the Congress.
The Petition itself is neutral in respect of the particular tax replacement that is enacted, but we are confident that once the debate begins in earnes, the NRST will win over the flat income tax.
In the meantime, we try to energize petition signers to work with us to get more folks signed on to the fundamental tax replacement movement, and to pressure their Congressman and both Senators to sign the VOTR Pledge.

ah, I see -- it builds momentum for some kind of flat tax and is less specific than your NRST. Got it.

Super!!! Taxman is something else isn't he? A passionate belief in this country and what it should and could stand for again. If more Americans had his passion...

Question for you in Freep Mail, Taxman.
Answer in your leisure time, if you please.
No hurry.
Not a life-threatening situation, nor self-destruction imminent.
You may exhibit restraint and not dial 911.
This has not been a recorded message, but I offer thanks in advance anyway.

TaxWho? Is there one among us who is pushing for fair taxing? Great idea! I hope he is well-informed and maybe has some pamphlets to pass around. Maybe he could let us know who he is by wearing something to identify himself?
Kidding aside --- congrats to you Dave! Take off the hat and take a bow --- but get that cap right back where it belongs! {{{{{hugs}}}}}

Frank,
You are a fine Freeper, indeed!
Congrats, dude, on the well-deserved honor!
(Unfortunately, they apparently got some photos mixed up at Freeper GHQ. I didn't even know Ernest Hemmingway's grandson WAS a Freeper!)

My favorite Beatles song is "Ob la di, Ob la da" - anybody but me hooked on that TV series "Life Goes On" - I LOVED that show!

LOL -- that's so funny for those of us who know him!! I promise it's the truth -- FRank *always* wears the hat. I don't think I'd recognize him without it, just like he says.
To: BeforeISleep
Thanks, BIS! It's beautiful out today. :)
