I dig it, but Pataki doesn't have to step down to run against Schumer. He can run and if he wins, he goes to DC. If he loses, he goes back to Albany.

This is his 3rd term - he can't try for a 4th. Challenging Schumer is his fastest way to DC - I hope he does it.

My guess is that Pataki will run for Senate. That's why he is refusing to allow the commuter tax to be reinstated!!! Gotta love it!

Peter King has said he is considering a run against Chuck the Schmuck (my words, not his) Schumer.

A second thread w/ quotes from Schumer, Hatch (go, Orrin!), here: "I believe that we are God's noble experiment." Sen. Chuck (E-cheese) Schumer, the Estrada hearings, Feb. 5.

I'll never forget the "does character really matter!" I'm still livid about that disgraceful argument that was obviously sold to the American people!!!!!!

What's the status of the hearings? The duece is now running a news conference from earlier where the Dems found hispanics to side with them against Estrada.

Bayh's stance is a mystery.

I called Sen. Bayh's office today and urged for Estrada's confirmation. First I asked how Bayh planned to vote on the confirmation and his office replied that he has not decided. I thought this was odd as the vote could have been today and was told that Sen. Bayh usually doesn't make up his mind until he is on the Senate floor . . . Does he toss a coin?

Alphonse was a philandering walking ethnic stereotype from the wasteland that is Lawn Guyland who stupidly thought he could pick up the secular Jewish vote against Schumer, while ignoring the Latinos and taking upstate for granted.

Now that RINO, Sinn Fein supporter Peter King (the only GOP congressman from Long Island) will probably challenge Chuck, he will become the third Lawn Guyland boy in a row to get trounced by a Dem in a Senate race.

Well at least I have Vito Fossella, who has an ACU rating in the 90s. Nevertheless, I am NOT PROUD to have Chucky or Hillary as my Senators. Now if only the GOP does not nominate some numbskull from Lawn Guyland again, we could have a decent, albeit "moderate" Senator in the vein of Giuliani.
