The name change thing is common in radio. I'll give you an example. Rick Dees, real name Rick Dias! When I'm on the air, I use my middle name as my last name. Common thing in the business. Serves one of two purposes(or both). Using a different last name my be easier, especially during ratings period when people are writing names in listener diaries to pronounce and remember than your own last name. And it protects you from the freaks out there who might decide to show up at your house or crank call you 24/7. I disagree with you that his opinions are fake. As I said before, if they weren't genuine, the callers would eat him alive. And if buzzwords and slogans were the benchmark of sincerity, the ALL of us on here are the biggest bunch of fakes in existance.

All my brothers and uncles were Army and all my brother-in-laws except one were too. One was a swabbie. I'm the first Marine in the family but not the last.
