Great point - I can't imagine how he can begin to justify his position - talk about intellectual dishonesty.....

You got it.

JJ wants a "donation" to one of his "causes".

Earth to Jesse, Earth to Jesse--when you start complaining that there are too many black players in the NFL, then we will know you are not a racist. Until then, you are one of the biggest racists ever known to mankind. And I will never call you "Reverend," because you are not one.

"Professional sports is all about keeping the Black Man in his place!"

I realize you're being sarcastic - but you uncover the flaws in his logic - if in fact the league's failure to hire black head coaches is based upon racism rather than business, then the league would be hiring less blacks to play on the field.

How can Jackson deny the fact that this is purely business?

I'm surprised this 'article' included the one key piece of information: "they were offered interviews but....".

JJ has reached the self-parody stage as witnessed by his involvelment with this situation and his advocacy of reparations for slavery.

I just wish that some in the adminstration would screw their guts together and have the IRS begin a criminal investigation into the finances of Operation Push.

Here in Chicago it has been known for a number of years that JJ has been using Operation Push as his own personal piggy bank. A superficial examination of his organizations finances would probably land JJ in prison.

When I became a christian, I made it my goal to preach Christ to all people to show people the true way that we can racially heal, unite and be as brothers. I thought this is what the Bible preached. The Holy Spirit came down all manner of believers in the Upper Room.

Jesse Jackson is a mail order reverend masking as a christian seeking to destroy whatever bonds of brotherhood black and white have made. He cares nothing and doesn't want to admit that the majority of white people in America are not bigots and see black people as fellow Americans.

Limit them to 1 playoff victory in 45 seasons?

I recall this game; Erik Kramer passed for 376 yards in a drubbing of the Cowboys 38-6. Sadly for Wayne Fontes, My Skins showed them the door in the Conference Championship Game 41-10. And THEY havent done a damn thing since!!!

"Let's see, I can think of one, Tom Flores? (and that was years ago) Can you think of any more? "

Well, I can certainly think of at least one great candidate although I don't think he'd be interested -- Anthony Munoz.

Jesse Jackass is an idiot. Nobody is buying this. The NFL is about winning games, period. No team is going to pass over the best coach that they can get because he's black. That's ridiculous. If they're the best, NFL general managers are going to be beating on their door day and night to get them to come to their organization. In the NFL, the A-#1 priority is winning games, plain and simple.

The rule says that they have to "consider" black coaches. Can Jesse Jackass magically crawl inside the heads of NFL team bosses and know whether or not they considered a black coach?

What does the rule mean when they say that black coaches have to be considered? Do it mean that management has to think about it for a nano-second? Does it mean that the team has to give them an interview?

Jesse is really reaching on this one. He better take it on down the road because, even though he's essentially untouchable, the NFL has the cash, clout, and lawyers to put his lights out.

Yep. And who's to say that the Lions didn't consider Dennis Green or other black coaches? Just because they weren't interviewed, it doesn't necessarily mean that they weren't considered at all. The Lions decided that Steve Marriucci(sp?) was their best choice. What is the problem? Jesse Jackass is an idiot.
