After reading the list of celebrities, I've come to the conclusion that their collective IQ, measured in degrees wouldn't be sufficient to boil water.

Is it possible to abbreviate this list to those who have vehemently and publically come out against the war on terror? As others have said, they have first amendment rights and signing yourname on a piece of paper is not necessarily a hanging offense.

It's not necessary to go after everyone to make your point or to be effective. In fact, it's easier and more productive to target the worst offenders and concentrate your energies there. The others will get the message. If needed, we should focus our efforts against those who have used their fame, fame gained through average American's like us buying tickets to their movies or buying their CD's, to be advocates for causes with which we are in strict disagreement. Fame and infamy are twin brothers. It is comical to watch these pukes whine about the criticism directed at them when it is the same dynamic that allows their opinions to get the media attention in the first place. Spoiled, whiney, selfish brats. That's all they are.

I've stopped watching movies period. I'm tired of these hollywood actors trying to be a voice of the people, these actors have no clue, they live in a fantasy land called hollywood. Behind gates, servants, and security officers lies a group of people who think they know what it's in the american people's best interest because they pacify the american public with crap entertainment. Face it, this boycott is going to do nothing to the list of actors and those associated to the actors whether it be a movie studio or a production company. These people will still make millions of dollars because every one of you is going to end up watching a movie or TV show that supports these actors. The only way to win this war on hollywood is to stop watching TV and going to the movies. I'm sorry but for the average american who is bored stiff with their mundane lives this aint gonna happen. Everyone watches movies and this is precisely why these hollywood idiots feel they have the power to speak for the people and of the people of the USA. Face it, these hollywood actors are the Gods of our time, the celebrities that people are supposed to drop everything and listen because they portray characters in movies that are supposed to reflect or effect our lives. I have stopped watching all new movies that have been made since 1999. I only rent old movies, this way the money does not go directly to the actors and film companies. Instead of sitting here making lists that mean nothing, how about we set a date and make it annual where no one watches movies for an entire month and then make it two months and so on. Hollywood will always make money no matter what, UNLESS, YOU stop giving them money.
HA! Hollywood is making millions right now as I type.

I love the list. I think it should continue. Will Rogers, although long ago passed on, should be on the good guy list. Quoting him from November 9, 1924 "An actor has as much right as anyone else to have his political beliefs. He pays his taxes and is a good citizen. But I don't think he should carry any propaganda into his stage work. He has no right to use his privilege as an actor to drive home his political beliefs. We are paid by an audience to entertain them, not instruct 'em politically. Then, if you want, as a citizen, go hire yourself a hall and tell 'em what you want to. You're a citizen then, not an actor."

I noted a good start on your list, but wondered why Natalie Maines of the Baghdad Broads (formerly the Dixie Chicks), Eddie Vetter of Pearl Jam(med), and Roy Schieder of JAWS (the movie) are not on your list of "bad guys".

As for the "Good Guys" I think it is now safe to add Ron Silver since he was a staunch supporter at the "Rally for the Troops" held in Washington, D.C. on 4/12/03, and of course The Marshall Tucker Band have been supporters since before dirt was invented. And what about Ben Stein, Martina McBride? Don't forget Will Rogers, yes, he was a Democrat, but that was a different story back in those days. Another of my favorite quotes from him was "I'm not a member of any organized political party, I'm a Democrat!"
