MEXICO vs. THE UNITED STATES
Fiedor Report On the News #301 ^ | 2-9-03 | Doug Fiedor

Posted on 02/08/2003 9:39:23 AM PST by forest

It seems that Mexican President Vicente Fox is running a disruption operation against us. Nearly every week there seems to be more news about how the Mexican government is messing with the people of the United States.

First it's the drug smuggling thing. Illegal drugs enter our country by the ton from Mexico. Obviously the Mexican government knows that. They mouth some words about doing something, but have not.

Then there's those millions of illegal aliens squatting in our country. Instead of stopping the flow of illegals across the border, the Mexican government seems to be doing everything possible to make things easier for them.

President Vicente Fox is no friend of the people of the United States. He heads one of the most corrupt governments in the world and even his police and military are involved in smuggling illegal drugs into our country. Now he's demanding that our federal government give amnesty for over 3 million illegal aliens squatting in the United States.

As Rep. Tom Tancredo, Colorado Republican and chairman of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, said about the proposed amnesty program: "The first lesson these new residents will learn about the United States is it is OK to break the law. Is that the America we want to build?"

Tancredo is correct. All illegals should be arrested and put in jail. Or, there not being enough room in our prison system for all these lawbreakers, they should all be bussed back to Southern Mexico, where it is a long walk back to the U.S. border.

The Mexican government, however, is issuing special ID cards for illegal immigrants to use as valid identification while living here. These ID cards are nothing more than a major scam on the American people and our government.

Despite concerns by U.S. law enforcement honchos and immigration officials, the Mexican government is passing these identity cards out by the thousands to Mexican illegals in this country. These "matricular consular cards" cost about $25, run for five years and can be obtained from many Mexican consular offices with just a birth certificate and a photo identification issued by either Mexico or the United States. Of course, no legal resident needs one. Yet, the Mexican government wants them accepted for all services in the United States.

Socialist Democratic Party disrupters, like the new House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), are attempting to make these Mexican cards legal identification for illegals so they can function in our society as if they were here legally. Pelosi actually ordered that the Philip Burton Federal Building in San Francisco, housing her local office, is to become the first federal facility to accept the bogus identification.

Not everyone in government agrees, however. The General Services Administration recently suspended the pilot program in San Francisco that would have allowed bearers to use the cards as identification to enter a federal building. Meanwhile, the GSA is said to be working with other agencies, including the FBI, to study the cards.

Now the Mexican government announces that it will sue our government in the World Court -- also known as the International Court of Justice. Mexico's "concern" is that the U.S. has 51 of its citizens on death row. Street terrorists that they are, they were caught, tried and convicted in our courts and now must pay the price for their crimes.

At the moment, the Mexican government is asking the court to order a postponement of the executions until the whole panel of judges can hear the case. Mexico argues that the United States has violated international conventions in imposing the death penalty on its citizens.

Their case in a nutshell, Mexico says, is that that U.S. authorities have violated the Vienna Convention by not informing its citizens that they have the right to contact their consulate when arrested in the United States. No matter that they are here acting like armed combatants and taking over whole neighborhoods. Apparently, the government of Mexico wants us to treat them as if they were Mexican citizens visiting us on a legal tourist visa.

Supposedly, the judgment of the World Court is binding under international law. However, the World Court has no way of enforcing its rulings. So, that's all there is to that story.

Meanwhile, Mexico continues acting like a very bad neighbor. Actually, it is acting a lot like a little brat that needs to be spanked and then sent to his room with no supper.

The real problem is, our central government does not seem to be up to the task of acting like the adult in this matter.

NOTE TO ALL:

MEXICO is a Member of the United Nations Security Council (believe it or not) and has not come on board with a second resolution to enforce the last resolution.

Personally think it is time to seal the borders totally with Mexico -- huge stone wall would be nice or chain link with concertina wire on top!

I have to smile slightly at this. I remember after Bush took office and some people were saying that the "Special Relationship" would now be with Mexico rather than Britain.

Mexico should be forcefully reminded who is making sure that their country has any level of prosperity whatsoever, who provides the bulk of the investment, markets and tourism that they have.

Regards, Ivan

Not before sending them a bill for our trouble. And we should demand payment in gold, not fiat currency.

If they refuse to pay up, the US should do to Mexico the same thing they would do to an American taxpayer who failed to pay their taxes.

The US should start seizing Mexican assets. Hard assests.... not paper. The easiest asset to seize would be land.

Think the "special relationship" never was what it was made out to be. Anyone in this Country that thought Pres Bush would put Mexico over our long friendship with Great Britain really didn't understand President Bush.

He reached out to Mexico and for the most part Pres Fox acted like he was the one calling the shots. Big mistake on Fox's part but as far as I am concerned the best thing that could have happened to this Country.

Personally want to see all of his illegals sent back and shut the door behind them.

I will go along with that! Seize their assets and send them a bill!

Am sick and tired of all the illegals here in this Country and Pres Fox sitting there whining! I swear the Government of Mexico supports all the illegals coming in to our Country instead of trying to stop them!

Fox is definitely not our friend. I don't think he cares much about Mexico either ---most Mexican ex-presidents pack up and leave Mexico and head for Europe once their term is over and they've stolen as many billions of dollars as they could. If he cared about Mexico, he'd do something to build Mexico into a better place, encourage it's vast natural resources to be developed. He'd be ashamed of the way prosperity ends at the Rio Grande and do something for Mexico more than try to get rid of it's people.

NAFTA will equalize the standard of living between Mexico and the United States. Vincente Fox knows this as well as our President. Thirty years from now (long enough for the current depression to take its toll) our children will be living in huts with mud floors. Makes you sorta proud that you allowed this to happen, doesn't it?

To everyone who posted befor me. Bush is letting this happen.

He lost my vote for 2004.

How the hell can he get on TV with a straight face and talk about the "war on terrorism", all the while when 5000 illegals are streaming across our borders every 24 hours.

Pure unadulterated bull$hit.

Before 9/11 justing hinting that this open border was a little problem would fry your underwear, and get you called every name in the book, with reminder after reminder that your ancestors were once from another country.

However, by stating that about Bush, you'll enjoy some of that heat on the rear end too...

Taking this essay on Mexican-American relations to school would open up some dandy debates, especially in those states where the Mexican population is dominating the free schools. I wonder what it would be like where Asians are 50 percent of the school population, as it is in some high ranking high schools in Silicone Valley. I encourage parents to have their teen-age students print this out and read it to their Sosh classes is school.

Could anyone clarify this? I'm already pi$$ed enough that I must sit through 'for espanol, press el numero dos' or whatever on EVERY phone transaction I make, but today, when i called the bank number to check my account, they additionally said: "Enter the last four digits of your social security number or your 3 DIGIT ID NUMBER." What is that? The matricula cr@p? The bank 'couldn't clarify' what that meant when i called back. Help here? Thanks.
