Eric Alterman On Drugs and On MSNBC Right Now (2/9/03, 5:10 pm EST)

Posted on 02/09/2003 2:12:17 PM PST by Doctor Raoul

Eric ALterman is on MSNBC right now, pitching his book, "What Liberal Media?"

He's whining about the lack of liberals on cable news shows.

Earth to Eric, come in Eric.....YOU are a regular and a LIBERAL on MSNBC, the former Geraldo, and soon to be former Donahue network. The public works network for unemployed has been progressives.

Eric, MSNBC is by far more liberal than conservative.

When asked by the host if Dan Rather is a conservative, liberal, or middle of the roader, Eric replies, "I don't know his politics."

Yo Eric, you just wrote a book called "What Liberal Media?" and you don't know the politics of one of the big three network's nightly news anchor? Must be a real stinker of a book if your that bad an observer for a reporter/columnist/pundit. It's Leslie Stahl bad there Eric.

Guess we'll be seeing you (and your book) around the Dollar STore any day now.

Eric, you HAVE to be on drugs to say such things on TV.

I like Scarborough. He handled those nutbag Stalinist protestors...uh oh, I think I might get boycotted.

Alterman is a lunatic. I like how Joe proved him wrong coming out of commercial. Alterman's technique is to create a fog, like the typical Marxist would.

I've been watching this. Alterman is either delusional, on drugs or an outright liar. With any of the choices he has no credibility.

I changed the channel after Alterman said there are no liberal talk show hosts on network TV. I guess Larry King, Phil Donahue, etc., etc., will be coming to the next VRWC meeting. His segment followed those clowns doing the Rush advertiser boycott. Too many jerks in too short a time for my stomach.

I saw them, they should be poster boys for the failure of public education.

I saw it! I don't know why because I never watch MSNBC, but I was surfing and stumbled on the segment right before that, those anti-war twits who are organizing the Rush Limbaugh boycott. They didn't do so well in that interview. Then Alterman came on and made an idiot of himself. It was quite enjoyable.

All of the other guests in both spots were conservative. They skewered the libs. Is MSNBC finally starting to understand why they've been doing so poorly in the ratings?

I seen that, too. The left controls the newsprint, most of TV, and about 1/2 the internet. Now they want the radio. They want it all.

I saw this and Alterman is a raving loon.

Still harping on the election of 2000 and how Gore won the popular vote (as if that means a darn thing. How many Texans, for instance thought "old Dubya's got it sewn up here so I don't need to bother", just for an example of how meaningless that stupid "popular vote count" point is). Claiming if "all the votes" were counted in Florida yada yada yada.

So, when did Scarborough get the MSNBC gig?

I believe that if all the voter fraud and illegal immigrants vote could be elmininated, Bush very well could have won the popular vote.
Anyway the Electorial College was created by our Founding Fathers to kept guys like Gore out of office.
I will say this, even if I thought Bush "had it in the bag" in my state, I would get out and vote anyway just to send a message.

Here are my thoughts on this subject.

I just finished reading Mr. Alterman's comments on Rush Limbaugh and the 20 million people who listyen to his show.

I happen to be one of the 20 million people who listen to Rush and I will tell you right now that Mr. Alterman is nothing but a no good SON OF A B*T*H and an A**HOLE.

I have researched the subject of liberal media bias over the last several years and I don't just believe but I know for a fact that there is indeed a bias against conservatives. Mr. Alderman knows this for a fact but apparently he would much rather live in dreamland than in the real world.

If people of his kind ever gained any position of authority, they would use goverment powers seize access to food, medical care and other essentials and deny all conservatives and christians access. It's quite obvious these people have a problem with us conservatives and christians existing in our own communities.

Just all the more reason to watch very carefully who we vote for at the voting booth.
Regards.

I'm watching this doofus on C-Span 2 right now. This portion of the book tour was recorded on 2/21/03 in some bookstore in LA. He mentioned an article from a New York newspaper that listed Free Republic as having "stickiness" - the amount of time folks hang around a particular web site. The average time on FR apparently is 5½ hours a day. Wow.

That figure seems to bother Eric terribly. After seeing this guy for the first time - I'm glad it does...

The average time on FR apparently is 5½ hours a day.

Plus three hours of Rush, 5 hours with Hannity on radio and TV, add in Savage, Boortz and Beck and we get no sleep.

That Eric knows we don't sleep and are plotting against him must be a terrible burden.
