Wellesley was a GOP stronghold until my highschool days- then it changed. That was late 80's and early 90's.

Yep- Old Roy did do that. But the Locke boys didn't like him- and I worked for them as well when Cheryl Jacques defeated their father. In fact- I worked for both at the same time and there was a lot of hate between the camps.

Aye, if you want to see ugly politics, MA is the place to be. Ugly, ugly, ugly. ;-)

Currently still ticked at the way Jim got schuffed off by Romney/Healey.

Uh, Berkery rings a bell, so does Dowd, but can't connect the names immediately. How about the Roys? (as in Arthur/John/etc)

...(katie berkery?)...

John Roy- know the name well- was a bully and also a coward. He was a big guy. But from what I heard he backed down like a girl to the Moynihann brothers after him and some other loser tried to steal their sisters graduation keg. I also heard Roy and a kid called Muzzi backed down to a scrawney kid named Andy Jones at a keg party after they tried to threaten some younger kids at the keg. I know this because I saw it both times.

Yeah, John Roy was not a good boy in HS, but you'll be glad to hear he turned his life around and ended up going on to be an all-american wrestler at...dang, I forget the college. He truly cleaned his act up. Arthur is his father, and Arthur is a GREAT guy, and built the addition on my parents' house. :-)

I remember Greg Comella smashing somebody's head through those wire-window things in-between doors...before he transferred to Xaverian, that is.

John Volpe. That was the convention where Quinlan almost took the nomination and ended up as Governor.

Yes- they are- but still- they fooled us to protect them for 50 years and let them have 8 week vacations and make stupid movies about their complicated "relationships".
