It would be nice if the gubmint would level with us and lay out a plan of action and give us the facts as opposed to this random drip of info.

The government is doing a very good job at keeping the public informed. You unfortunately want all the answers. Intelligence is normally not that neat and clean. So the government issues warnings (and some of the general intel that raised the alerts) as well as precautionary measures. Very prudent move, in my view.

http://islamicity.com/orgs/action.lasso?-database=services&-layout=orgs&-response=orgslist.shtml&-op=bw&Category=Mosques&-maxRecords=20&-sortField=Name&-sortOrder=ascend&-token=Mosques&-search

i agree with your thinking.

Massive deportation of ALL illegals, including a major sweep to round up illegals makes too much sense - and like a previous poster indicated: America has been sissyfied to the point that we are afraid of what the rest of the world thinks and says.

To rightfully defend ourselves, we need to be willing to destroy major centers of radical islamists, to round up and mass deport illegals (not just muslims), and to close our borders. All of this is possible without further infringement of our constitutional rights. OF course, I truly believe that anyone who comes to our country illegally has no rights anyway.

Exactly. It would be win-win. Less enemy within, less need for more measures for security that take away citizens rights.

Just rejacket a couple of B-83s with cobalt, set for surface burst and we'd solve both problems with a nice, big, fully-radioactive hole where Mecca/Medina/Qom were.

Why are they not deporting all illegals? It's driving me crazy!

I am getting so angry-it is driving me crazy. I can't believe that we are supposed to sit here like fish in a friggin barrel and indiscriminately be "taken out" at the will of some two bit terrorist thugs who after two friggin years should not be in this country. My god, where is the outrage on this board? This is insanity.

there is outrage...unfortunately, we're not "allowed" to do anything to remedy this problem.
it's like getting your face slapped, one side at a time.we're told to be vigilant, then we're assured that islam is a peaceful religion, go about your business. and all these veiled references to the haj and the feast of eid. are we going to be OK next month? next year? i'm 50 miles outside of NYC, should i avoid manhattan (obviously yes), not fly?
i'm sick and tired of this bullsh-t.

I can understand that the Israeli's have to live with this. (to some extent) There is absolutely no reason why we should be expected to live with this threat. We have two big oceans on either side of us. And to have our officials stand up there and tell us this as though it is the friggin weatherman telling me to expect rain showers is just astounding to me. And the fact that people are excepting it-TWO years after the first attack-is mind blowing to me. People should be taking to the streets, except I wouldn't advise that because your more liable to be taken out by our friendly little religion of piece guests!

How many dead Americans will it take to start taking this seriously? Ten million? Fifty million? Someone should tell the powers that be, that are too concerned about disrupting the flow of commerce to actually do something to try to protect the American people, that dead people don't buy things. Maybe, that'll shake 'em up a little. Seems to be the only thing that might.

i wonder if anyone knows more than the average american. for instance, does pres. bush, or bill gates, or steven spielberg ...whether in gov't, politics, or business know what and where to avoid. are there specifics that only the highest up in american society are aware of, or is every single person as ignorant as i am.

This almost makes me thankful that hubby was laid off and is home currently. We are doing work from home and we may keep it that way for the short term with this new threat.
I am concerned about schools as well. If there was ever a time to homeschool, if only for the safety of your children, now is certainly the time.
