The penalty for having such a compartment would rise from a misdemeanor to a Class 4 felony carrying up to three years in prison.

And what if I'm a jewelry salesman and need such a secure location in which to store goods? Or any of several other reasons one might want such a compartment. Now it's going to be a crime to have a place where a gun could be stored, whether it's actually there or not? Good grief.

I used to live outside of Chicago. I'm not going back after I saw this and that idiot Alderman on Hannity & the other guy last night.

Perhaps knowing the manifest failure of gun control in its short history, the evil that is Chicago politics is hoping the increase in murders will translate into a higher % of dead voting.

If they pry your gun from your cold dead fingers, in Chicago they will get your identity to vote Democrate!
