One reason I moved to FLYeah really, I couldn't believe I could just go and buy a handgun and AK-47 and there was no state paperwork required at all.
Its the difference between being a free citizen of the USA and a socialist subject of the USSA.

I'm sitting here at work, with a few spare minutes, reading this. I have a gun in my pocket right this moment. Never needed it, hope I never do.
And I'm so glad I don't live anywhere near Big Government Eastern states (everything east of Nevada is East) like Illinois.

That;s your opinion and you're entitled to it, but I'll be working to get rid of Fitzgerald in the primary. I certainly don't agree with Fitzgerald on everything, but I'm curious as to what the specific failures of Fitzgerald are that should motivate Republicans in Illinois to expend time, effort and money to defeat an incumbent Senator in the primary, rather than focusing on other races. That's not a criticism, rather a question I hope you and others will answer.

"Each of these bills could save lives." Yep! Gun control has always saved lives. Unfortunately, the only lives saved are those who rule us from within the monstrous state and federal bureaucracies.
It's time to re-read those parts of the former Constitution that address this issue!

He's not a member of the RINO party of King George et al. He may not be a solid conservative, but he refuses to go along with the corruption which is a "required" part of Illinois politics.

No the Aldermanic/Mayor's elections in Chicago are Non-Partisan, you do not have to declare a party to run nor vote....

God, how I hate Democrats. I really, really do.

Richard Daley is also the one suing the BATFags for every firearms owner's information in the COUNTRY, on the theory that one of us, one day, might drive through Chicago. What a scumbag.
YOU got the scumbag right.

Methinks that this provision would get tossed (or laughed) out of court. I would hope so, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it either. In some states, it's difficult to impossible to buy laboratory glasswear, beakers and such, because it *could* be used in the production of methaphetamines or other illegal drugs. And if you get some, you still risk being prosecuted for possession of "drug paraphenallia". So what you want to use the compartment for isn't really material if they outlaw the compartment itself.
