My son worked at Wall Mart as did my wife for a sort time. The Application states "All employees are required to be age 18 or higher". Thus my son had to wait till he turned 18 to apply.
Most of the people they worked with had criminal records. The first thing they did when hiring was to make you fill out forms requesting the state to pay WallMart money for hiring you. Ex-Cons and Welfare moms generally qualified. Handicapped people also qualified.
Look around next time you shop there and you will see some of the stupidest people in America working there. Very few can answer even the simpelist questions. This is because WallMart can hire them at partial taxpayer expense reciving credits for their disabilities.
Top pay at WallMart is around $7.50 / hour. This qualifies a single mom for Food Stamps and Medicare (for at least six months if she is coming off Welfare). Her children qualify for free health insurance as well (Up to 40K / year for a family of four).
As far as proving it with articles. Democrats want this kept secreat because fixing it would take away their base. Republicans want it kept secreat because fixing it would cause a short term loss for companies. Although I believe this fear is unfounded. In the long run it would improve the situation as companies would no longer recieve welfare the best companies would do very well. WallMart would do just fine as well although we would pay higher prices our paychecks would also be larger.
