In spite of Free Republic being the best place in the world to get the real news, the real value happens when Freepers hit the streets or start other projects. I sent this article from the Mercury News to my pen pals overseas tonight and got two responses already. I've told them all about FR and "Operation Infinite FReep".

David, on the USS Constellation, said:

Let him know that we appreciate what he is doing, and we're glad to hear that the word is spreading like wildfire, and to keep the good work up!"
