If Blair keeps up this talk, he's going to make it very hard for me to dislike him :)
Thanks for the post!

Tony Blair has shown a great deal of courage. More than can be said of other European "leaders".

Tony doesn't want to go down in history as Neville Chamberlain II. He also understands that Britain's prestige and player status in the world is totally tied to the U.S. and the U.S. trusting the Brits.
But still, he's got quite a pair.

when you voice you opinion you have blood on your hands Stupidity can get people killed. If you just get yourself killed, that's one thing. But when you do something stupid and thoughtless and it leads to consequences, like 20 million Russian deaths in WWII and 6 million Jews killed in WWII, and millions of Americans, British and French, then voicing your opinion for "peace in our time" is your right and marching so Saddam figures he doesn't need to give up after all is your right, but Hitler-enablers have blood on their hands.
Words have consequences. Words mean things.
Like the New York Times continually trying to publish our war plans for Saddam to read. Evil incarnate has an opinion and speaks, too.

and they have plenty of public lavatories in France. You should try the one where the ladies have to straddle a concrete trough and pull up their skirts and squat. That was a real eye-opening experience.
Out in the country the only food you can get is ham and bread. No vegetables. And definitely no ice.
However, the best meals I ever had in my life were at Brasserie Flo in Paris--calf brains, and at La Tupina in Bordeaux--foie gras and mushrooms on noodles.
French are definitely not people you want to go to the well with; but in a few carefully selected places, they really can cook.

Re Blair and Bush having info about Iraq that they cannot share with us at this time.... I TOTALLY agree with you; we would not see someone like Blair (or a "dove" like Powell) continuing with the war-talk if there wasn't something REALLY dastardly going on in Iraq.

Do you ever have anything nice to say. How about you explain your position on your attendance and support for the peace marchers and anti-war protests. You are only posting "one-liner" attacks without debating your side.
Would you care to elaborate on your one line snide remarks on the Support our Troops rally threads?
Seriously, you haven't been here long and I'm sure we'd all like to understand you better.

Tony has got more courage in his big toe than the entire population of France.

Blair is acting very Churchhillian! (lol is that a word?)
