I think that anyone that thinks "this will never happen" is dreaming. The U.N. can change the rules with enough support. Major countries are onboard for this. Clinton is greatly assisting in the growing hatred of President Bush around the world. It only makes sense. It is not foolish to be afraid of any scheme plotted by the clintons and the America-haters around the world. Clinton cares nothing about this country. He and his wife care about one thing - POWER!

The clintons will split up (in public only) and Bill will move to another country, Hillary tries to be President here and Bill goes for being the head of the UN. From what I understand that is the plan.

The UN would have to change its charter, as no member of the Security Council can lead the UN.

Changing its charter would be great for the appeasers in the U.N. - they love clinton, also an appeaser. He is right up their alley.

I'm sure he is as well :) However, I do wish that he would be more proactive about getting us the heck out of the UN. I'm seriously depressed by the news this morning....I know that we're doing another watered down resolution for the sake of our friend Tony Blair, but I'm sick and tired of it and I want my President to stand up and say screw the UN. If that doesn't happen I'm afraid he's going to lose the faith of his most ardent supporters.......including myself.

Frightening, indeed. I still can't get over how the likes of him was elected President (never underestimate the power of the uninformed voter, for one thing). I can't imagine having to endure her as POTUS.

My guess is hillary would be completely onboard for this. Her in the White House, him as Secretary-General of the U.N. - this is a dream come true for them. How much more power could they ask for. Remember, on President Bush's Inauguration Day, clinton told his followers with a dirty laugh, "Hey, I'm not going anywhere."

I think you might be a bit misled here, volchef. I read yesterday that we need 3 more weeks to have everything in place. President Bush is playing the U.N. game as we get our last assets in place, also giving Blair a little more time. When all is ready, President Bush will attack. Period.
