Much as you would like to dscount Clinton, I'm afraid that history will count his as one of 43.

But only 42 men served as president.

The count is off because Grover Cleveland, who was both the 22nd and 24th president,served as president for two unconsecutive terms. Figures it would be a democrat that messed up the count!

Oh, another correction. Abraham Lincoln was the first Republican president. The Republican party didn't come into being until about the 1850's.

George Washington was a Federalist.

Dutchess....haiving the power on is incredible. We usually lose power in starms less then this one. My neighbor ran out of oil so they have no heat so later tonight they are coming over and spending the night. I refused to take no for an answer. The oil truck wuld not deliver due to hopw bad it has gottne here so they have to wait until tomorrow.
