Natural causes, of course...
But then are killed, as the people of Iraq turn on them...
What would be funny is if they captured them and sentenced them to life in prison(after a fair Western style trial).
Now that would make me laugh!
During the depression, they used the natural sense of uncertainty as an indictment of capitalism.
During the civil rights movement they took advantage of the loss of confidence America experienced. After WWII we were certain of our essential goodness, but the civil rights movement shed light on the fact that many of our prevailing ideas were similar to the evil foe we had just vanquished. If we could be so wrong about ourselves, what else were we wrong about. This loss of moral confidence allowed the left to credibly question all sorts of long held beliefs and traditions. The sexual revolution, feminism, break down of families, moral relativism, cultural relativism, post-modernism.... all were introduced by the left on a vulnerable American culture.
Now they are using political realities of the post cold war world. Europe is free from the looming threat of Soviet domination. They no longer need America, and frankly resent the fact that they required us in the first place. They are subconsciously aware that they are living on borrowed time and are a mere shadow of their former greatness. Their rejection of Christianity (one of the building blocks of Western values) and replacing it with socialism has sealed their doom. Like most former great civilizations, they compensate for the reality of their wretchedness with delusions of granduer. They are the most important people in the world, NOT THE AMERICANS!!!
The left has siezed upon this political climate. With their utopian dreams proven futile again and again, they have only one thing left. Their hatred of America. That is all the left has, well left.
I don't know where this leaves us, but there are a whole lot of people with nothing better to do than hate America. But I don't see them giving up their hatred any time soon. The question then is does America have the confidence to withstand all the fruit this hate will bear. Will the vast majority of Americans stand firm in the belief in our founding principles, or will they continue to listen to the "Wormtongue" left that dominates our media, academia, and entertainment.

Despite that, I shocked myself by presenting him a dead-serious "Seig Heil". He got the message.
He was making these anti-Semetic comments as if it was common, day-to-day conversation - not one iota of embarrassment - so I presume it is exactly that in Germany.
