Oh, feelings........you base your opinion on DAmato's feelings and your ability to read his mind.

Jim Kaelstrom KNOWS what happened....and he helped in the Cover-Up...and then retired. Someone should put him under oath.

I don't think it was a Navy missle. Too many people would have known about it, and someone would have blown the whistle.I believe a few tried, Taxman. They were silenced. I forget the details and the names of the people. But I do remember.

We may never know the truth in this case, but what I do know is that the U.S. government lies to its citizens with such boring regularity that I have no reason to believe "official" explanations in any situation.I voted for Browne only because I knew he couldn't win in Texas and I knew that GW would. I just wanted to register a protest vote. :) But i found this. http://harrybrowne.org/articles/Incident.htm

. . . you base your opinion on DAmato's feelings and your ability to read his mind. No, I don't. You asked my if I was suggesting that D'Amato thought TWA Flight 800 had been shot down by the U.S. Navy. I have no idea what he was thinking, but when I heard that initial report I will say that an accidental shoot-down by the U.S. military never crossed my mind.

It would be a good thing if one of them stepped forward and told what he/she knows.

Thanks. But I made a mistake -- in Item #2 of the first list, I should have said: ". . . a terrorist who was interested in shooting the plane down would have attempted to do so from a point much further west.

The biggest cover-up in the last ten years? Those ten years covered some very bad experiences under our former President. For example, the OKC bombing. I'm sure you are familiar with Frank Gaffney, Jr., former Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security under Bush'41 (and/or Reagan). Within the past approximately one month, Mr. Gaffney has written in a syndicated column and stated orally at a public forum (Columbia University and C-Span) that the OKC bombing had Middle Eastern sponsorship. I do not believe I am overstating the import of his remarks, and he is a mainstream national security authority.
I recall the soon-forgotten news reports during the Afghanistan operation Anaconda that records were found showing the formulae of the explosives used to destroy the OKC federal building (and you can be sure the materials were not fertilizer, nor were the records put in the cave by Terry McVeigh). But at that time we had a President who wanted to run for re-election against right-wing white guys who were trained by the American military, rather than being bothered by a dispute with Islamic extremists. No wonder Bin Laden decided to fly two airplanes into side-by-side buildings so it couldn't be spun as another accident. Of course, he has learned we have a different kind of President now.
