There are many more crying, sniveling, anti-war idiots than that. However, if I boycotted every moronic actor, actress, musician, etc., I'd be sitting in my house humming to myself.

Therein lies the problem. Respect their acting work, not their political positions. I was sad to see Bill Schallert's name on this list, I thought he was one of the great tv dads on "The Patty Duke Show." He's about 80 now.

I saw Carl Reiner's name on the list and was surprised not to see his son, "Meathead" Rob.

Actually, now that I read over your list, I think I've got them all covered. Well, unless another X-Files movie comes out. The chances of my boycotting that are somewhere between zero & none...

That's what I say. But, I am in the minority, as I have shreaded my copy of, "What Every Good FReeper Should Boycott, Volume 8975, with subsection zz6".

Armin Shimerman is a pretty smart guy as well as a good actor.

I guess no matter how smart you are if you live with liberals then they affect you.

"There are many more crying, sniveling, anti-war idiots than that. However, if I boycotted every moronic actor, actress, musician, etc., I'd be sitting in my house humming to myself".

no problem ... just buy yourself a Guitar and a Peavey amp (I know Marshall Amps are the popular choice) ... but, Peavey Amps are "AMERICAN MADE" ... unless unknown to me at this time, there are some goofy liberals leading that company ... anyway! learn to play and sing, turn it up REALLY loud, disturb the neighbors at all hours of the day and night, you'll have a blast.

It's waaaaaay more fun than having to endure some no talent, monotone hacker such as little davey matthews.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Schallert's been a notorious committed Commie (not liberal) for years - was even blacklisted in the fifties. Filmfax magazine did a bio on him a few years ago, and frankly I was shocked. Next they'll tell me Whit Bissell wasa Stalinist!

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but Schallert's been a notorious committed Commie (not liberal) for years -"

Crap, had no idea. Of course, he played a newspaper editor on 'PDS', if I remember correctly.

"was even blacklisted in the fifties."

Amazing, given that it didn't seem to adversely effect his employment. He's got a staggering list of credits to his name in that decade.

"Filmfax magazine did a bio on him a few years ago, and frankly I was shocked. Next they'll tell me Whit Bissell wasa Stalinist!"

Probably gonna turn out Cyrano Jones, Arne Darvin and the tribbles were all Soviet agents, forget the Klingons.

I'm ashamed to say that I have been a lifelong Dave Matthews fan. Incredible guitarist. When him and Tim Reynolds get together, they make some of the best music around.

I will not stop buying his CDs. I just can't. Can Free Republic forgive me?

If I meet him, I will shake his hand and then punch him in the stomach. I promise. But I won't stop buying his CDs.

How 'bout an '81 Les Paul Custom Black Beauty through a Line 6 POD and into a 100W Fender Twin set to about 6 (2 will make your ears bleed)? Maybe crankin' away on some Gary Moore?

Not that.......ummm.......I'd ever do that or anything...................ahem..............

The Al Bundy I know hates the French. The Al Bundy i know is a patriot to the core. Its a shame some of these characters actually have to be real people.

I agree with you, Dave Matthews is a great musician. Don't slug him too hard or he may not be able to play music for a long time. The great thing about this list is that even though SOME of Hollywierd have stood up against our country, MOST OF THE ACTORS WE KNOW AND LOVE ARE NOT ON THE LIST AND SUPPORT THE EFFORT. When you look through the programs that most of us watch, our favorites are not on the list. There are always stupid, shortsighted people in every group or gathering that make the remainder look better.

Well not compile a list of supporters of the possible war efforts? Off the top of my head I can name Dennis Miller and I know some my cringe as this, but I had Howard Stern on in the car yesterday because I was flipping around and he caught my ear when he was lambasting French Canadians for their anti war rhetoric.
