I have seen folks (not me unfortunately) who would never need more than a .22 target pistol, because they can pick which eye socket to put it through at any range under 100 feet.

That caliber....22...kills more than anything else...due to widespread ownership to be sure but still...
I won't go over my own getting shot by one story again but it stung.
OTOH....if it had been a .30-06....I'd be long ago worm fed.

I have a .22/.22 Mag revolver and it is accurate enough to pick your spot anywhere you would be in your house. I can't say I could shoot the eyes out at a hundred feet but I sure could inside the house. Loaded with .22 Mag soft points it's not a bad choice if you can hit your target where you want. It would be best used for head shots.
