Yes, you're correct. Not only is the Aptx suspected of being a hoax, it is worthless as a transitional form because fully developed birds are found in older rock.
The only way evolution can go from no transitional forms to an instant abundance of transitional forms is to redefine "transitional."
I normally do. It is when the information pointed to by a link is trivialized that a production of the true source seems necessary.
