Perhaps there is an innocent explanation -- in fact, it is probably likely that there is -- I don't know about you but I think the use of secret evidence to deprive people of their liberties is a very serious thing and needs to be opposed at every turn -- I am glad Norquist fought it and that Morella fought it and campbell and a whole host of over people -- including Bob Barr and the ACU's David Keene... they should all get awards for that.

1. prove that khan's father did any of that. don't show me a link to some article that asserts it -- prove it. find me an invitation or an eyewitness account from someone who is there.

2. khan never worked in cabinet affairs -- he worked in opl and was promoted to a more significant post elsewhere in government -- what is your problem? do all muslims look alike to you?

find the words he used at CPAC -- he singled out Tollbah as a threat because his father is on the board of an Islamic center in Houston -- and provided no other reason

You've got to be f'ing kidding me! Find them yourself. What am I, your personal Google interface? I even went to the trouble of looking up the guy's name for you and you still can't spell it right.

I used to respect Norquist, but now he's an apologist for Islamism.

Excellent point.

Muslim extremists seeking to foster one Islamic world

President Bush has come under some criticism recently for his outreach to the U.S. Muslim community because administration officials have apparently met with some groups that have ties -- direct or indirect -- with extremist groups here and in the Middle East.

Still, and in spite of the criticism he continues to reach out.

The president’s position is understandable and even commendable. He doesn’t want to do anything to make it appear that he’s leading an anti-Muslim crusade because this would drive millions of Muslims into the extremist camp with Osama bin Laden and his buddies.

The problem is that the ideology driving the terrorists is in fact religion-based. Wahhabism is more than just the state-sponsored religion of Saudi Arabia. It is a branch of Islam that is warlike, anti-Western and bent upon our destruction. These folks hate us as well as any Muslim that doesn’t dance to their tune. They have been responsible, in fact, for the slaughter of literally millions of their fellow Muslims in their drive to remake one of the world’s major religions in their own image.

take a look at this joke....

March 2, 2003 -- Those of us in New York who are friends and admirers of Grover Norquist - and we are many - were shocked and dismayed to see his picture over the caption "Norquist: Bringing terror's friends to the White House?" ("Outreach to Terrorists?" Opinion, Frank J. Gaffney Jr. Feb. 26).
I have known Grover for nearly 25 years and can assure you that his loyalty to this country is absolute. He has devoted his career to advancing the Founders' ideals of human freedom and limited government.

The Post should apologize to him for this unmerited attack.

Okay fine -- is this the same David Keene who is one of those leading the charge against the use of secret evidence and parts of the patriot act and the son-of-patriot act that -- when Norquist does it -- is enough for you to suggest treason has occured and that Norquist needs to be run out of the movement
