In his latest book, Dinesh D'Souza relates how at Dartmouth, the one thing the leftist protestors had in common was their awful hygeine, ragged clothes, and generally dissheveled appearance. Once this observation was printed in Dartmouth's alternative newspaper, the protestors decided to strike back by protesting wearing suits and dresses. But their awful fashion sense combined with the fact that the suits of most of the male protestors were a few sizes too large or small, made them look ridiculous. These people are pathetic in almost every sense. They give aid and comfort to Saddam Hussein while adding nothing of substance to political dialogue.

You might be a Hollywood liberal if you think customs should be searching luggage for bootleg recordings but think it is profiling to be looking for anything else.

1. You're protesting President Bush for what YOU THINK he will do to harm innocent civilians, but the million or so murders Saddam Hussein HAS committed are not relevant to you.

                      Let's play liberal's advocate for a moment.

   "Actually, conservatives are eager to go to war against Iraq for what they THINK he will do IF he gets the weapons and the means to deliver them, but the starving North Koreans in a communist dictatorship that already has nukes and the means to deliver them is not as relevant."

'Win Without War' Releases New Talking Points

(2003-02-25) -- Win Without War, the coalition of organizations planning a "virtual march" on Washington, D.C., this week released a new list of talking points to guide people who call the capitol to protest disarming Iraq through threat-of-force.

The group encourages callers to use their own "heartfelt" words instead of compelling, thought-out reasons. Here is an excerpt from the talking points list:

We can disarm Saddam Hussein without invading Iraq. Despite 12 years of failing to do so, I just feel that we can.

A U.S.-led invasion of Iraq would be the greatest terrorist recruitment tool that Osama bin Laden could imagine. We feel afraid of terrorists and should never do anything that might make them angry.

We can't control war. Experts warn that an attack on Iraq could seriously undermine and destabilize regimes in the region, upsetting monarchs and dictators who also don't like us.

What happens after war? Are we prepared to occupy Iraq for years to come? Think of how long it will take just to de-toxify the WMD landfills, and to give medical treatment to the Iraqi people who have been exposed to chemical and biological agents. Then there's the trials for crimes against humanity. We don't have time for all that.

The administration hasn't convinced our allies or the American public.

According to a recent poll:

- 59 % of Americans believe the president should give the United Nations more time;
- 63% said Washington should not act without the support of its allies;
- 87% think 'Joe Millionaire' should have picked the other woman.

Many innocents will be killed or injured, and Saddam doesn't need any help doing that. So let's just allow him to continue killing his own people?

Young Americans will die in battle...War should be the very last resort. First we should pass at least 18 resolutions in the U.N. Security Council, spend almost a year trying to build an international coalition to pressure Saddam to disarm, and continue to take no action even if he doesn't comply with our U.N. resolutions.

... if you think that you are for "freedom of speech" as you insist that abortion protesters be jailed.

... if you think that you are for "choice" when you insist that guns be banned.

... if you think that the government has no business being inside anyone's bedroom, except to confiscate guns.

... if you think that "every vote should count", unless the Senate is contemplating voting to confirm a Conservative judge.

... if you think that it is OK to sue tobacco companies to recover tax funds spent on cancer victims, as long as the big money court awards go to rich trial lawyers and politicians who give the money away hiring bureaucrats to do anything except fight the ills of tobacco.

... if you think that "states' rights" are a sham when it comes to abortion laws, but are the cat's meow when it comes to ruling on federal elections.

... if you think that the end of the current Ice Age has been caused by "global warming" machine emissions over the last 20,000 years.

... if you think that last minute pardons of Billionaires like Marc Rich mean that you are a man of the common people.

... if you think that lying under oath is OK when it's "just about sex".

... if you think that Republicans should have to go to the UN for inspectors and war approval, but that Democrats' can ignore the UN (e.g. against Serbia/Kosovo 1999).

... if you think that everyone's wealth should be redistributed, except your own.

... if you think that it's cool to debase our culture and international reputation with drugs, sex, mindless "art", and off-the-wall opinions, unless you are a right-wing cowboy.

... if you think that "hate speech" should be outlawed.

... if you think that the color of your skin should get you preferential (or detrimental) treatment by hiring companies and agencies (and university admissions).

... if you would lay down your life to protect and empower a brutal Middle-Eastern dictator, but wouldn't even date someone in the U.S. military.

... if you would protest a year-long "rush to war" by the U.S., but wouldn't even carry a sign demanding that Iraq comply with UN inspectors or disarm.

5. When people try to discuss the current administration with you, your face becomes red, you raise your voice and use the words: "idiot" and "oil" repeatedly.

Paradoxically, this one fits both...

except Conservatives are correct!!
