Yes it is, as the allies there still view the UN as their strong, united wedge in opposing isolated North Korea and their current armistace is UN-supervised.
Most unfortunately, however, it is surely true that today's UN will do nothing to disarm North Korea when the time comes. You can't have everything. But I am sure they will drop any illusions when push comes to shove.

(Easy to UNDERRATE N.Korea: Idiotic leader, starving people. BUT DON'T! They could attack in a flash.)

To the South Koreans in the demonstration, the UN Flag is to remind them that international forces once played a role in fighting North Korean agression rather than accomodating. Most older South Koreans remeber it was U.S. troops and our allies who did most of the fighting.

The politicians serve as a distraction -- and come and go without leaving much except the slime of their passing.
The media scum [And the DNC's permanent feral-gummint "employee" activists and "judges"] stay and are, by their lies, murdering Our Nation!

The Korean people know that the only hope for reunification is with the support of US ( both the U.S. and US ! )
Korea will be one country again in our lifetime..
Hopefully Pres. Bush ( and I ) will be there when this "wall" comes down !

I've been casually listening to news all evening and haven't heard one report about this.
I atteneded the DC Patriots Rally today; when I returned home to Philadelphia, the local news here covered a very small anti-war rally at he Washington Monument (that I didn't even notice and I was there) - and not one word about the Pro America Rally.

Subject Open Letter to President Bush
OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT BUSH February 24, 2003
(Will be delivered to President Bush through Amb. Bubbard on March 3)
Representing the majority of patriotic citizens of the Republic of Korea, we, the representatives of the March 1st National Rally for Anti-Nuclear and Anti-Kim Jong-Il, convey our resolutions to President George W. Bush of the United States of America with much gratitude and friendship:
1. We thank U.S. for their generous support for South Korea from its foundation to its protection, industrialization, and democratization, with many lives of American young men, forming an alliance forged with blood, and with magnanimous financial aid. We hope that the strong alliance between our two countries will continue to be maintained.
2. We ask U.S. to reconsider their expressed intention to reduce and realign its troops in South Korea. The policy may encourage the instigation of the Kim Jong-Il regime, a member of the axis of evil, which is endangering the world peace with its development of nuclear weapons.
3. We affirm to the U.S. that the majority of Koreans fully support Bushs policy for North Korea in his determination not to back down from their threat and to stop nuclear development. We hope the U.S. understands that anti-American sentiments and the request to withdraw from South Korea are the views expressed by a minority who are in opposition to the opinion held by the majority.
4. We ascertain that South Korea and the U.S. share the core values of freedom, democracy and market economy. We ask the governments of both countries to resolve existing dissensions through patience and dialogue, based on the cooperation and faith which have prevailed, and to strive for mutual interest.
5. We, acknowledging that freedom and equality are universal values of human life which should not be infringed upon by political influence, also appeal to the governments of both countries to put our mutual efforts to save the North Korean people who are under the oppression by the Kim Jong-Il regime that has rejected to reform and starved 3 million of its people to death.
The Representatives of the March 1st National Rally
A letter from our South Korean friends.
I spent a little time there (14 months lol) and had some great expieriences as a soldier there. I was treated well and thanked profusely for my service in their country. I was greatfull for my service protecting on of the worlds other democracies.
