Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady loves GWB.

He probably does, but I have heard professional ice hockey players, by and large, are quite conservative. This is just what I hear, but the few NHL players I know, who live here in California, are die hard conservatives.

John Larroquette (Night Court), Russell Means (actor, author), Aaron Russo (producer, The Rose) and Walter Hill (producer, 48 Hours) are libertarians.

She publicly supports Pro-life and is eloquent in her case.

There is something very endearing about a Pro-Life women. As there is something repulsive about Pro-Murder women. There is the stain of blood on their hands.

My favorite Patricia Heaton quote: "On a personal level, as a Christian, it will not be Barbra Streisand I'm standing in front of when I have to make an accounting of my life."

Hey, Search4Truth, I don't mean to belabor the point, but what do you think about the transcript I posted? He says very clearly that he doesn't talk politics with Sheen because they are of differing views. Did you read it? Just wondering why you are so insistent that he can't have changed, the way Dennis Miller admits he has as well.

A few years ago Hulk Hogan was The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The wrestling outfit he was with at the time was doing an angle about him running for President. Anyway he came out for the flat tax and for taking out Saddam. I got the impression he was serious, not following any kind of script.

Don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me. The sports world is largely conservative. It's the whole mentality behind it.

I don't really have a problem with whatever personal beliefs these people have. It's when they used their celebrity to promote them over mine, is when I get perturbed.

True. I think their attitudes are a factor as well. They really have bought into the lie that they are part of the elite in our culture—that their celebrity has somehow bought them credibility.

Yet credibility is based upon the actions and character of the speaker. How can their opinions have moral authority when many of them either live immorally or continuously portray immoral characters?

This is why they liked Clinton. He claimed credibility without the character to sustain it. It is the inherent problem of liberalism. It all sounds really nice and utopian, but it is not based on reality.

These celebrities talk down to the men and women who keep this country going, while not realizing that what they do is a completely disposable aspect of our society.

I think some humility on their part would bode well. But who could convince them of that now?

Well, you had to know that (Honorary) Gunnery Sergeant R. Lee Ermey, USMC (Ret) would be on our side! Gunny Ermey was medically retired (Vietnam war wounds) as a Staff Sergeant after 10 years of service.

I thoroughly enjoy his show on Discover Channel. I highly recommend you watch it, maggot! LOL!

I saw that. I know there are a lot of conservatives in the WWF/(now WWE). I think Hogan said he was 'middle of the road'. The Rock, Austin, the McMahons, Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross, and Bradshaw all backed W over Gore. I think Lieberman though was a big reason there because he's for censorship. Speaking of Lawler, he ripped Gore/Lieberman specifically. - "I know who I won't be voting for. I won't be voting for Gore/Lieberman. They remind me of "Right to Censor".

"Ron Silver is expressing something different these days. This is from the mediaresearchcenter.com as well:"

Perhaps 911 was a revelation for Ron Silver. If it was, I hope he will continue to be as avid about his new found Conservative values, as he was about his support for the Clintons and their Socialist agenda. I haven't forgotten about that. I’ll be watching him. :)

Thanks, great stuff. Also Val Venis (now Chief Sean Morley) is a big time libertarian who loves Alan Keyes. He's trying to return sanity to his native country Canada...good luck there.

Yeah, I remember that whole, 'those are our planes now,' trash, so I couldn't believe this was really Ron Silver today, but maybe he really had an awakening.

did anybody else catch Don King on the Jimmy kimmel show last week?

Don king had two american
flags and had red white and blue all over the place. He told jimmy kimmel
that we are all americans and now is the time to stand by our president.
Kimmel made it a point to tell him the war was wrong and Don King stood his
ground. He basically said that he stood behind this president, and yeah, he
stood behind clinton too, because he was a true american, and it is our
responsibility to support our government.

Kimmel questioned why he would support a government that took 30 million off
of him in income taxes in one year and kings response was "that¹s the least
I could do in a country where somebody as lowly as me could succeed as I
have"..so much for the dems feeling that our government is too lenient on
the rich, huh?
