I've said she will run in 2004 for years. One thing I think the author has wrong is that a loss wouldn't hurt her chances in 2008. A rousing defeat of a Clinton would mean their political end, which would be the only thing to stop her from running at that time. The main reason I think she'll run in 2004 is that she's too arrogant not to run.

There has to be a parallel drawn here to those that are doing their best to keep Saddam in power, and those who want to regain power i.e. the Clintons. I have to scream this next part: THE CLINTONS DO NOT CARE ABOUT WINNING IN AMERICA BY VOTES. THEY KNOW THEY DON'T HAVE THEM. IMPORTING VOTES AND FOREIGN MONEY WHILE ELIMINATING THOSE THAT WILL VOTE AGAINST YOU. KILL OFF THE MILITARY, CONTROL THE ABSENTEE BALLOTS, ELIMINATE GOD, IMPLODE YOUNG SKULLS FULL OF MUSH ETC...

It is much more productive to follow the Iraqi oil money trail than to Presidential prosperity than to rely on honest Americans to vot you in. The Clintons will need money to posit themselves as UN Chief and President. They aren't going to find it at home...why waste time here?

The dems are praying for a military disaster. It's their only hope. If the war goes smoothly the economy will pick up and they are toast. If, for some reason, Bush is forced to back down, he will lay it on the dems.

Republicans continually underestimate the campaigning ability of the Clintons. Hillary will run in 2004 and she has a very good chance to win. It's the economy. She has three easy campaign points. Increasing unempolyment, loss of retirement income through plunging stocks, a President who cares more about the Middle East than about America.

Whether theses points are enough remains to be seen. She is a dangerous candidate for Bush, probably the Democrats strongest.

Conservatives everywhere would do well to heed your warning. Laughing off Hillary!'s chances is probably the surest thing that could be done to get her elected. We laughed off Scumwad's chances back in '92, and look what happened. Remember the old "He's got too much baggage.", or "The press will tear him to pieces over his womanizing.", or "He's just a governor of a small Southern state (like Carter)..."

Well, never underestimate the stupidity of the electorate. If the economy/stock market remain as they are or worse (which has a good chance of being the case) then the sheeple will pull the lever for whoever Rat candidate is on the ballot (except for maybe Kucinich) with visions of their wiped-out 401(K) statements in their minds. Furthermore, never underestimate the power of lock-step Rats to vote for their party, right or wrong. Never underestimate the power of the Clinton smear machine, because Carvile is salivating in the wings over the prospect of a Bush vs. Clinton rematch. Never underestimate the appeal of identity (women will vote for Hillary! for no other reason than her gender). Finally, never, ever underestimate the pure, unadulterated love and devotion the press has for a liberal Rat.

That's a great idea but it would depend on the media's cooperation to spin it that way and I doubt they would do that outside of a few news sources.

If CNN,ABC,CBS,NBC were to suddenly make an issue of Hillary's crimes of the 1990s, somebody might wonder why they didn't bring them up at the time.

I think the Bush Administration felt it couldn't win a scorched earth war with the Clintons so they just buried all of it and hoped it would go away.

Someone needs to start a web-site like on Hillary, like the one the Arizona Statesman had on John McCain, calling Running Hillary instead of Running John. Collect together in one place the worst negative articles that they can find on Hillary.

Actually, I e-mailed Evan Bayh about the Estrada filibuster and advised him not to play Hillary's game of follow the leader. Right now Bayh seems to be the only Democrat in the Senate that is presidential material, even though I don't agree with him on issues.
