A bunch of addled New York liberals thinks Americans would vote for a fill in the blanks Democratic candidate for President? Its not even 2004 yet and they're already crowing victory. I really wouldn't worry and given the fact they absolutely NEED bad news to get a Democrat elected to the White House at all next year speaks volumes about the Democrats' plight. Add to that the fact they don't even have a candidate on the horizon who can even present a remotely credible threat to President Bush's re-election prospects. Relax folks; this is far from 1991 Redux.
