1 - Go to C-Spam.org.

2 - On the top left corner, click on the link that says
"C-Span", which is right under "TV Schedules."

3 - Then from the new page, look on the right and click on the C-SPan links (above the C-Span-2 and C-SPan-3 links), and pick the media you want.

Right now, Colin POwell is talking; Straw is coming up.

I dislike that former-terrorist-turned-German foreign minister myself. He looks like a little milquetoast guy, but he has a history of street riots and assaulting police.

What a world!

Sec'y General of the UN will be a good job for Pee Wee Clinton. As soon as we abandon it, him and Kofi can play marbles in the hallways.

By the way, as I flipped the channels through to get to C-SPAN1, C-SPAN2 is showing that course on Clinton at the University of Arkansas. Boooooring! And the students look like they wish the bell would ring. HA!

Jack Straw was clearly the star of the show today... maybe across the pond you might say he was Our Man of the Match!! -- and his calling to accounts the weasel from France was a long ovedue comeuppance for the arrogant Gaullish snakecharmer.

Bravo, Mr Straw. Hear hear!!

But when you kick somebody after they have gone through the experience of 9/11, they will notice it.

Great point! Many forget that Great Britain lost a lot of citizens that day as well. The Brits have truly been with us from "beginning to end."

And they never lose their composure or forget their manners.
I believe it was Kipling who wrote: :O beware my country
when my country grows polite..."

You have much to be proud of, Ivan.

Mr. Ivan, I used to despise your Liberal government. However, as individuals, Mr. Blair has foresaken our former fornicator in chief and Mr. Straw has demonstrated that he is not one of Albright's whores. I have profound respect for both gentlemen, even if their own party would betray them in the name of Eurosocialism.

I want to express how impressed I am by your posts. Today, my daughter and I watched Jack Straw deliver deVillainyMan (as we refer to the French Minster) another Waterloo. The fact that deVillainyMan ran out of the SC meeting to blather with reporters is proof that Jack Straw hit his mark.

The press duplicity will not be forgotten either - they did not ask deVillainyMan one question regarding reports that France is aiding and abetting Iraq's regime with the acquistion of WMD's.

It is beyond reasonable to assert that the French/German alliance with the Iraqi regime is what will be the end of the U.N., not the United States. For those members of the U.N. who have continued to supply a murderer with munitions and an arsenol to harm hundreds of thousands of people will be revealed to the world when the United States of America once again, picks up the debris left by the policy of appeasement.
(posted on your other thread; again thank you!)

Straw farted in the French's general direction. And inflicted more than a flesh wound.

As far as the Germans? Not too long ago Germans herded people like sheep into ovens and killed them in droves. And that was when they were being humane. Sorry Germany, you have no moral basis to preach or point or pontificate.

In wars fought not too long ago Americans bled and were butchered so the French and Germans could sit today and look down their noses at America and say they are our betters. How dare they. How dare they!

The French and the Germans are making me angry. I'll no longer buy anything produced by those two countries.

True, but he is speaking to the U.N. so he will reference the U.N. in his speeches. Thus, while the comment did stick out to me, it didn't offend me; he was just being a diplomat still.

Bless you, Mo. I didn't want to leave FR and go into the living room for Mr. Straw's speech. Your link solved my problem and I'm watching now. The Russky is now on....and on......and on. What a boring spiel.

I've always maintained that the English language is the vehicle for the best prose, poetry and passionate oration.
