HEAVILY armed al Qaeda thugs practiced storming a school, shooting children and taking hostages in a videotaped training exercise, The Post has learned.

The terror rehearsal took place under the mandate of al Qaeda's operations chief, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks.

What is truly more dangerous, imho, is the evil of people in America who appear to be normal human beings, but are frightening in the extent of their anti-Americanism and lack of support for our country in this time of World War III. One expects evil from one's enemies, but its the injury from friends and neighbors which hurts to the core, and is the more evil, because it lurks under a cloak of respectability.

Absolutely. Make no mistake, those friends and neighbors who see nothing wrong with the actions of terrorists, who refuse to condemn them, and who wish to force us not to defend ourselves, are the aiders and abettors of evil. The only difference between them and the terrorists is their outward disguise. They are all on the same team, whether they realize it or not. You either oppose evil, or you don't oppose it and as a result you cooperate it with. There's no middle ground, even though the "respectable" ones pretend there IS a middle ground of neutrality. This enemy within, who looks just like you and me, is the most dangerous, because they are collaborators.

This shows the Al Qaeda mindset: attack only those who are weaker than you, fight those who cannot fight back, spill blood of those who can barely resist. These are not men, they are the worst sort of cowards imaginable.

Regards, Ivan

I will be sure to mention this to some of my fellow colleagues on Monday.

Right now we practice intruder alerts.... locking doors, hiding the students, and turning out the lights.

We cower, and I despise it.

God forbid we would have a firearm to protect ourselves on the school grounds.

"A tape was found today showing redneck deer hunters practising 300+ yard kill shots with scoped, high powered rifles, using cutouts of terrorists as targets."

All jokes aside, you're right Ivan. These cowards refuse to fight like men. They pick targets that don't fight back.

>>They are screwing around with the wrong people when they start killing American children(or any children for that matter).

I agree, if this type of attack happens, the gloves will come off, including the use of tactical nukes...and almost no Americans will complain about it.

Attention, teachers in the State of Maine..............you know, those of you who were humiliating little kids in your classes because their fathers are in the military.

Take heed, you worthless scum. THIS is what those fathers are protecting YOU from. The kids in your care deserve it even if you don't.

It's a pity that the schools are operating under the idea of, 'don't run, don't fight back, we'll only die tired.'

Zero tolerance equates to zero acceptance of real life and the ability to live it.

When the very FIRST school shooting happened, I started telling people I knew, the schools needed teachers who were 'packing'. Whoooweee. Most of those people thought I was a horrible parent, thought I needed to be in a psych ward, yadda, yadda. But then I discovered FR and now I don't feel like such a 'freak'. And I STILL believe armed teachers are the way to stop trouble when it starts and to protect the defenseless kids.

IMHO, we should tell the confinees at Gitmo, that they will be afforded a 24-hr period of privacy without direct observation, dress Ramsey Clark in a set of military dungarees, with a tape recorder in his pocket and a copy of the Bible in his other pocket, place him inside their compund for the 24 hour period and then see what happens after 24 hours.

BTW....it might have more of an impact if you printed this article for them to read. The written word carries more 'power' since it forces one to use their brain to think about what they're reading. LOL.

Ivan, I'll use your comments as a springboard-
( assuming I can write a semi-coherent rant, as I am in Mr. Mom Mode- my wife's up early, demanding breakfast & such... )
-- yes, these bands of goat-humpers are the worst bunch of cowards I've ever seen.

They are neither warriors nor even common strong-arm criminals, but something far lower and more base.

Their rhetoric is filled with childish bombast and thunder, semantically-laden words which in the end signify little or nothing that civilzed people need to heed, other than that they hate us beyond reason.

While I hope this report will open some blind eyes, it is nothing that we did not know or suspect already- I truly wish we would take a page from Israel's playbook of a few years ago, and open our National Guard armouries to any citizen in good standing, and allow them to check out small arms suitable for nailing these vermin.

Yep... I couldn't agree more.

During hunting season I have kept a firearm in my trunk.

Should something happen, I know where I am headed.

I teach in a very rural District, and it would take the police 20 minutes to get there.

By then who knows what will have happened.

Well, those leaders seem to have chosen methods that are virtually guaranteed to galvanize us against them. I wonder if they realize that.

You have to admit, it's a workable scheme. There is no one to stop them since guns aren't allowed near schools.

I know of two local school administrators who carry. They are responsible for the kids in the schools. This is in a very rural area, not D.C. or Chicago.

Wrong.

Suicide bomber is PC euphamism. The purpose of his actions is murder, not suicide. The news should say "15 innocent civilians were murdered today. State sponsored murderers from the Palistiniam Authority murdered 15 innocent people when ..." Murder of civilians is the goal, intention, and result. Thus even the term "militant" is misapplied - these cowards go after little girls and people on buses - they never attack a military installation.

Homicide bomber is euphemistic in its own way - murder would be more accurate - as in "First degree murder" which is what these are.

Not all Muslims are like this. Muslims in these outhouse creepy countries are the victims of these nutcases too. I have a Muslim friend who, as a child, knew of people dragged from their homes, never to be seen again, just for expressing the wrong thought. Our job is to go after the evil.

Here's how I see it. All countries get the same basic mix of people. Some saints, some good, most morally neutral, some bad, and some evil. In this country, the good and sometimes the saintly run things. It's the "you can't fool all the people all the time" thing. It roots out evil. Keeps it at bay. The Hitler wannabes in the USA are pumping gas, or sitting in a prison, or collecting unemployment. They're not leading the country except in their demented dreams. No State approved torture or rape gangs, and very little institutionalized evil. Our basic system tends to support goodness.

In many countries the opposite is true. The biggest thug rules. And evil has earmarks. In those countries, the good, the saintly and the morally neutral still live - but they're not in charge. And they're usually the victims. As time goes by they tend to rationalize the evil around them and become "twisted"... Still victims, but not as easily seen in those terms.

The battle with evil uses the double edged sword of force and love. Without the love, there is nothing.

When these terrs strike again, within America, I certainly hope they are all single. (no family ties here) Because whatever they 'leave behind', will become targets of Americans.
