The Clinton's must be horrified at this news. Their one and only precious! A capitalist! The tragedy! I don't know about that. Just look up yesterday's thread on the subject. There are numerous connections between the Clinton administration and McKinsey & Company. Chel's job is nothing but a quid pro quo between the liberal elite and the spawn of the third way socialists.

$100,000 to do research? Wonder what the other 4,999 researchers earn at this firm.
So how do they REALLY plan on using Chelsea? Any guesses?

I wonder how the other "entry level" personnel will like the fact that they started at $60K while Chelsea Hubbell gets to start at $115K.

She sure didn't get this job based on good looks.

As far as I'm concerned, good for Chelsea. She cannot help the fact that her parents are trash. Let's see what kind of adult she grows up to be then judge her on the merits.
To: RedWhiteBlue
She looks like a clone of that Raelian bitsch.
Yep, paybacks are rolling in. Papa gets 1 mil. for 45 sec. "job" at 60 min., Monica got all kinds of "jobs" for her "services" to rapist in chief, while people who stood up are disapearing in various ways. Can somebody have a closer look at all this stuff?
To: yankeedame
Quite a bit of salary for an untried hireling. Can't imagine that McKinsey & Company considers $100K training pay. They wouldn't have had their arms twisted to agree to take her on now would they. Unthinkable. But then, we all know how her mom can be. And her dad? Don't know. Anyone in touch with Wes Hubbel? Could you check that out?
The only reason I can think of for McKinsey to risk this is to get inside info from the new-hire's mom. They could have got Step-dad Bill for a lot less on a consultancy basis.

She is indeed an ugly little bi#ch. Possibly looking a little better though and a little less like Hillary. Probably had some plastic surgery.
To: yankeedame
The high salary will be worth every penny if it keeps her out of law school.

I like to make it a practice to give people the benefit of the doubt until they prove that I shouldn't. The really sad thing is that Chelsea may never know in her own heart if she measures up because of her own brain and mettle. Presuming she has that sort of awareness of course.

The answer to you're question is yes. If I were a Secret Service agent, I would not want that assignment. It's probably guaranteed to be worse than guarding Tess.

...Let's see what kind of adult she grows up to be then judge her on the merits. For Pete sakes, she's 23, with some minor exceptions the dye is pretty much cast.
The real tragedy is that without mumsie and dada, she is nothing. Think about it, if Hillary and Bill disappeared tomorrow **POOF** she would be of no use to to anyone.
Do "friends" like her, and young men court her, for herself? Probably not (certainly not the majority of them). Did she get this job on her own merit? No. Will she be able to keep it on her ability alone? Almost certainly not.
Do these thoughts every haunt her in the still, small hours of the morning? God help us if they don't.

Geez, this is the 3rd or 4th posting of this story. Give it up.LOL, oh heavens, I know that! But this one had that peachy-keeno picture of "America's Sweetheart"- now a young working girl.
Plus it came with the web address of her unoffical fan club. (As far as I could discover, there is no "offical" site/fan club)
Goodness, her fans and admirers should be thrilled she's getting so much talk-talk time!

Wait a minute...the article says she was hired as a consultant???? I thought consultants were hired because of their vast working knowledge and experience, in their selected field.
How do you become a consultant, when the only experience you've had is school??? What is she a consultant of???
Is there no one available who may have actually worked in this field? Gee, where do I get a job like that. I can be a consultant in anything you want.
Sure smells funny to me.

What about Amy?
"She was 9 when her parents moved into the White House in January 1977..." according to a Google search.
So, I'll take a wild guess that 9 + 4 years later is 13, and another wild guess that she could be considered and adolescent.
Who puts out these "mistatements" about anything "Clinton", when reality itself is so unbelievable when referencing them?
(Still bugs me about the media and Clinton)

I am nothing like I was like at age 23. I detest momsie and dada Clinton as much as you, but think we should all give Chelsea a break.
Think about it. Would you prefer to be judged based on your own merits or based solely on your parents? Maybe yes, maybe no. Now, what if your last name was "Hitler".
To: yankeedame
Spoiled little brat. Who cares? There are countless other politicians daughters that receive jobs, but they are not plastered all over the media. Really, who cares? I don't! eeew, eeeew! Chelsea got a job, whoo hooo!!!
Good grief these liberal media outlet bastards never cease to amaze me.

in all fairness, 100K per year is pretty much standard entry level salary (likely with up to 10K sign on bonus and proably up to 30% annual bonus) for first year associates at the top tier strategy consulting firms such as McKinsey, Booz, Bain, BCG etc. These are typically fresh out of grad school, MBA, Law, Master, PhD programs, they pick the grads from the best schools with little or no work experience and train them in specific consulting methodologies.
And the salary is on par, maybe even a little lower, when compared with first year associates at the top law firms and the top investment banks.
