Also, make sure you list your event at freeper.org! There should be quite a bit of traffic checking rally locations the next two weeks!

They haven't been for us -- we use Kinkos here in DC.

So, what do you pay for a 2'x3'poster that is full color?

So, a hundred would cost 1000-1200... Not that expensive... I guess... Remember, we want to make sure there are lots of flags, large banners, lots of signs, etc at these rallies. A sea of flags...

I don't know why you're thinking about this in terms of flyers. I'm talking about using the graphics to create POSTERS. No one is suggesting you to spend $1000 on flyers.

That's right, no one is suggesting. But to print somewhat decent flyers, or posters to hand out using the graphics provided so far is cost prohibitive. That's all my point was.
Even though it is not suggested, it would be foolish for us to have a rally and not provide some sort of 'take home' articles. Or things for protestors to wave/hold to make it look good for the press.

The anti's here in Modesto have two opportunities this Sat. Board buses for the protest in San Francisco or protest in front of the Armed Forces Recruiting Station between noon and 1:30.
I'll be there at 11:30 with signs and flags to lay claim to the sidewalk. Let them move to the other side of the street.
For the anti's to protest at the recruiting station says to me that they have gone beyond their war protests against the Bush administration to protesting our Armed Forces. 'Fraid I've got to rain on their parade.

I guess I see your point. We have buttons that we sell for a dollar with the emblem of our rally. As to things for people to wave/hold, we encourage them to bring American flags. You can buy those very small American flags and sell them at cost (50 cents) at the press table.

I wonder if they got a permit for that location? First come, first served?

LA Chapter is buying 1800 of the 12x18's to hand out to the crowd during the Oscar's. We're hoping to get a bunch into the gallery bleachers and have a wave of flags down Hollywood Blvd. as the actors arrive!

Great! I was wondering if there were going to be any rallies in this area, even though Richmond is about two hours away (VA Beach) it's reachable.
