Let me see if I have any other pics from that day. The one I posted is the only one I know of on my current notebook. I might have some others though - let me check.

I'd be amazed too. (RobFromGa, Ga Tech- B.EE (Co-op), 1985)

Even tho we live in NJ we get the Post delivered every day. Sometimes they make me mad, but generally it's a lot more bearable than any other paper.
Except the weekly Washington Times.
To: NicoleGTalum
I remember this protest. We wound up FReeping CNN Headquarters that day.
To: RobFromGa
I was there but didn't take any pictures. It was my first protest, found out about it from LoudCitizen.com (a link I found at Newsmax...didn't know about Freerepublic yet). My husband called Fox5 local news and asked them why they didn't get down there and they said there was other news in the city to be covered. That evening we watched Fox5 to see what important event they covered in the city that day... it was the after Thanksgiving Day Sale at the mall!

By the way, that little orange diamond thing means you can't watch the PRO-war rally story unless you PAY FOR IT. Not true. I just watched in on a broadband connection. It came through real well. Great video.

Here is a panoramic composite of two of your "truck shots". Only a temporary image hosting though. You could get a better one with the original files and some more patience. I thought it was a good view of the overall crowd. Although you can't see all the people back in the main park concourse to the far back left.

Good work, all!

Pic looks great, thanks! Now if the media would cover these!!! It seems only anti war protesting gets covered cause the media is so damned biased.

Let's put it this way - Hollywood - No one is listening - we listened once and that was far too much - ergo no American is listening anymore.

HERE IS A GREAT FREEPER TIP....
I was buying posterboard for a tiny anti- anti-war rally in the small town nearby and...
I found this flexable write-on, erasable stuff. I bought 2 and a black erasable pen and taped them together on 3 sides and slipped it over the metal frame of an old policial yard sign from the last election.
I plan to keep it in the car and then at any rally can fill out both sides on the spot, wipe it off for the next time.
Also the metal yard sign posts can be stuck in the ground if you have too many signs to hold and not enough freepers and they will stand up and not blow over.

That is fantastic. Georgians know how to throw a rally!
Love listening to Glenn Beck in the morning here in OKC area!

I am a little concerned over the lack of coverage of Rally Atlanta on Fox and Fox News. Should we let them hear it? I'm a vigin here and need guidence. I am sure freepers would be glad to let them use pics if they had none. Please advise. I count on Fox for "fair and balanced" perhaps they need a nudge (or a freep)!

Friends, Atlanta rally kicked leftist butt big-time today! Every local 11 o'clock news channel pointed out the 25,000 vs. the "dozens" of peaceniks at Piedmont Park. Channel 2 said that the pinkos went over to the Pro-America rally, but were not even noticed amongst the throng! CNN showed the Atlanta rally as a balance to the worldwide commie protestors. My wife and I are so proud to have been just a tiny part of this great event. Georgia stood tall once again for America, just as during the last election. We even have the best Democrat in all of Congress!

The first two of those pictures, with the middle one brightness-corrected, splice together perfectly and make an awesome shot. It is too big for me to upload though. You might want to play with it for an awesome crowd shot PANORAMA.

What a fantastic job you did!! That was spectacular! We in the New Orleans area have a rally next weekend, Liberty weekend. I hope that we have a wonderful crowd, but 25,000 is super spectacular!!
To: jsofsky84
Great shots of the crowd - thanks for posting these photos. Atlanta FReepers and rally attendees - kudos for a wonderful rally to show support for the troops.

I saw this rally on CNN while I was at the gym this AM in Cali. When I saw the flags and colors I knew it was a Rally for America. It seemed like it had some coverage, not just a second or two of snippets.

I was there today with my wife, son and brother-in-law. The crowd was HUGE, even with the lousy weather! It was cold, wet and miserable but we didn't care. This was a chance for us to show our support for our troops and for our President. We love America, our troops and our President!
