Rush is right, as I have said all along, this is all about the hatred of the socialists for Bush. I cannot comprehend why, except for the reasons he mentioned. I have to add that the dog and pony show Gore put on after the election of 2000 contributed to this vile behavior of the left, and did great harm to our country.
Thankfully, this President does what he thinks is right for this country and ignores the idiots who protest in the streets against the war on terrorism.
Perhaps they will soon learn the price that has to be paid for freedom the hard way.

Sorry folks.....but I'm all out of compassion for Leftists, Marxists and these self important brain washed young twits...
I'll save my compassion for the victims of terrorists, some of whom this twit was "protecting"..
In her case....the liberals should simply consider her death a delayed
"late term abortion" which the left insist is the natural order of life.....and a valid moral woman's right of CHOICE.
This twit CHOSE to step into death's path and she died....
She succeeded.....what the hell is all the fuss about?

"Decent people require a conscious effort to see the evil that exists in the worst of the left. They did'nt just tolerate the X42's nastiness - they exulted in it. It wasn't pragmatic stoicism, accepting his badness because of what he did to advance the left agenda. The worst of them said "He's like me! He's just like me!""
I know a few people like this: relatives and coworkers. Typically, these are people who regularly misbehave sexually in various ways and feel perfectly justified in doing so no matter who gets hurt. Most of them also lie a lot. They resent, even hate, good, honest, decent people on principle, and of course they despise Bush. They love the Clintons, every appalling thing they say and do. Just something I've noticed over the last 10 years.
To: txrangerette
Bush is hard to hate. Not true! Bush has a very definite view of right and wrong. Liberals don't see anything as "wrong" - what Bush calls "wrong" they see as just something coming from another point of view. Calling anything wrong is judgemental and hateful. Liberals hate Bush with the same passion that Conservatives hate clintoon.
To: FF578
They hate people who are morally certain. They don't like or trust people who have a definite idea of right and wrong. They just don't trust people who are firm in their opinions or any person who is confident in their faith - and dares to mention it. Sounds like libertarians to me.
Me too.

He also pointed out that these Bush-hating Democrats have put themselves in a position where they would be glad to see a failed war in Iraq, a war in which many American soldiers and civilians lost their lives before the inevitable victory comes.Sounds like the way some gun control advocates like to dance on the graves of gunshot victims in their totalitarian lovefests/press conferences.

Bush is a small prize for the left, which seeks to destroy civilization.Oh, no, Bush is no small prize. Rush is right on the money. The Left has gone literally insane in its hatred of Bush precisely because they see him as a defender of that which they seek to destroy. They understand Bush is one who will fight for the ideals which they hate. He cannot be intimidated or cowed. He is a huge threat to them.
And to top it off, they see him as an unsofisticated oaf who is only liked in fly over country where people are too backward and stupid to appreciate the pleasantries of "alternate lifestyles", so dull that they still pay reverence to dead white slave owners and too thick-headed to feel the proper angst over racial injustice.
The Loonies look at the current poll numbers for Bush and they are pushed completely over the edge. They long for an American castrophe in Iraq-- they actually want us to be defeated and our troops killed by the thousands. This would finish Bush, hurt the military, collapse Ameroca's standing in the world, and pave the way for the big takeover at the next election. However, they fear it ain't gonna happen, and they just get nuttier.
They see Bush as a big prize in seeking to destroy the things sane people appreciate.
To: Brad Cloven
"Bush, a defender of Western Civilization is a useful and passing target. The prize they seek is not Bush's overthrow, but the overthrow of capitalism, republicanism, religion, world trade, use of fuel, farming, etc. Out of the destruction they hope to re-form the world into their respective dystopias."
I agree. Radical Islam provides useful idiots for the sinister Left. If not for the low level of education and high level of hatred in the Middle-East, then how else could the athiestic, overtly communistic Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP, formerly Black September) gain the support of so many die-hard Islamic fundamentalists.
Yet the PFLP sees the U.S., a nation that enshrines freedom of religion in its charter, as its enemy, while embracing the very Communism that *bans* Islam in Cuba, North Korea, and most of China.
Sheesh...

I saw Evan Bayh (D-Indiana) on Fox. Don't really know him but he sounded pretty decent (for a democrat).

The radical left joins forces with its antithesis, Islamo-fascism, because both seek to destroy Western Civilization. Socialists one and all.

That's not fair. The only way to re-unite the Korean peninsula and defeat North Korea would have been to fight an all-out war with China. In fact, that's what MacArthur wanted to do, and that's why Truman fired him. It just couldn't be done, the country wouldn't have supported it.
Truman did the right thing.

The absolute truth:
Democrats have positioned themselves politically in this country to benefit when the country is harmed. If the economy goes south into recession, the Democrats think they're in great shape. If we lose the war with Iraq or if it goes badly with many casualties, they win!

I just disagree; depends on defining
"hard to hate". By my definition, Bush
is almost un-hate-able. And understand
that I heard every word Rush said.
The same ilk who "hate" W for all of
those "reasons" Rush gave, also claim
Bush is Hitler! DUH! Tell me, Rush,
what are their "reasons" for claiming
THIS?? See, it's just irrational, so
"reasons" have little to do with it.
Please note you need to know the real
CONTEXT anyway...a recent visit by an
American to Indonesia, where most of
them said to him, "We don't hate the
Americans, just Bush".
I said they're brainwashed - Bush is
hard to hate. In context, the saying
made sense. Indonesians hate W? Why?
Is he normally hate-able for them? No
way...they're BRAINWASHED!

Harry Truman? Wasn't he the president that left us with an unfinished war in Korea. Sounds like he would be comfortable in todays RAT party.Just because Mr. Truman was voted out of office in '52 doesn't mean he wanted to leave the war unfinished.

You got it - they don't just reject decent behavior for themselves - they resent seeing it in others.
